when i discovered the pron avatar thread and started reading i noticed my avatar didnt load, all the others did, and just a few secs ago i was in another thread where it did load....
so i checked my account and sure enough it was gone, so i checked my space where it is stored and it was there.....so i figured it got deleted. < but than again it could be an internet hickup...although my avatars always load and fast too...(maybe too much traffic for my avatar....)

oke...enough allready!....what a crap about a pair of titties anyway...

I wish I hadn't started this thread now if it's come to avatars being removed...........actually I was just confirming the rules before changing my own (got some lurvely ones too).

RR, your Hasselhoff avatar is not nice btw, please change it back , and where the hell did maxpayne get all those pics from? Oh my word I only hope they weren't at hand and he had to go and find them. Scary thought if he has those pics stored on his PC.

Just a point though, my own avatar refuses to display sometimes, twice recently I've had to reupload it to imageshack.

Terms and conditions for the host are no porn. The site isn't a porn site, I don't see why people have a persistant desire to post it to be honest, but it seems a consistant thing, and kind of childish from a few users, after they are told off for doing it predominantly

It could be worse, on some forums, some people seem to think its okay to use a 500kb file that takes up 1/4 of the page just to say their username in the sig, luckily no1s doing it here (I would pm them to remove it, and have done in the past, certainly at fh.org), but when I see that all I can think is that they really need to think of other users.

Remember every image you post has to be downloaded by every user of the forum. So posting excessively large, stupid or just offtopic images is just beyond me. I really fail to see why anyone would want to inconvience other users so much, for the sake of putting their screenname in a signature.

The idea of an avatar is to associate a name with a post. Its more helpful to have some visual quirk to a name I always find.

To take random's current avatar, it is actually quite effective to be quite honest. Its amusing at least and you get a picture with the post. The images do actually appear in every topic, in every section. Just something to keep in mind. So something decently sized and to the point is the best kinds of avatar.

If that's some semi-clad lass, lad or chimp, and you think that that is a good avatar, then that's fine (although to be honest, the horror oriented ones are waaaaaaaaaaay more memorable and quirky).

Pornographic content will be removed though in posts, I really don't see a need since it is actually against the board rules, the terms and conditions for the site, and the host.

Still people have posted porn in the release sections, the request sections, signatures and avatars so far. I haven't seen any thus far, although I have noticed semi-clad women are on the rise lol, wish it was like that round here.

There's a few porn sites about if that's what your wanting. Pornoholic is one (don't know the url) or you can google and find the vast majority of the net.

If your posting a horror movie, you have free reign of posting any image from them movies for screenshots. I don't see what flashing someones minge in a signature proves though, especially since it just ends up giving the mods and me more work.

lol, well its always been that way, hence why all the boobies are present. Its like they have such an overwhelming urge to post them in their sigs that they appear in practically every screenshot.

Screenshots are there for judgement of quality mainly, so its best not to compress them loads and choose them from high motion scenes, but if you need to slip a boobie or two in, then I guess there's no arguing with that
