Yes, I've just burnt the DVDrs of series 1 ( ), however its not perfect. It doesn't seem to have an overlying 'addictive' storyline, more of a pick up and watch show of independant episodes. Which isn't a bad thing, but some of the episodes aren't easy watches so its not the easiest to stick with (and ultimately why I tuned out after a few series and have yet to see all the episodes of the latter series).
That said, some of these 'minishows' were awesome, series one has the Tooms episodes which are without a doubt the best x-files episodes made. Series 1- ~5 were classics, then everything went bad and got caught up in aliens, and to be honest, the alien stories were the weakest in the shows lifespan.

ok, I have found the funniest thing I've heard my entire life. I laugh so much that it really hurts when I listen to this. The humor is raw, mean and brutal, not nice and kind, just the way I like it.

try it on your own risk. People with a weak heart should stay away.

Lol I've missed this topic, sorry John. I've downloaded season4 and I will start right now but I have a new link (approx. a month old) for season 3. When I downloaded the whole season3 this wasn't released yet. And it is the BEST Comedy central presents for this far. You must check this out. I must stop watching this over and over again and go on the fourth season:

GaMeR, tnx!!! =)
ed2k: Comedy.Central.Presents.-.5x10.-.Louis.CK.avi [97.74 Mb] [ Stats] wasn't nessesarily extremley funny, but he had some damn good points to make!
but there was one... either at the end of season 4, or at the very beginning of season 5. It was two guys up there together, and it was pretty much the LAMEST ATTEMPT at humour I have EVER SEEN! REALLY!! First I was ashamed on their behalf. Then I just got angry. Then I wanted to beat them up for being so incredibly awfull! YUCK!
If you're looking for more to download, I'd recomend the 'Nowhere Man' series btw.

My guess is that the crowd was laughing because of huge flashing "LAUGHTER" lights.
Seen Sean Cullen yet? He's awesome!!!

well, in the states comedy is extremely lame. Your not even allowed to heckle from all the interviews I've seen with international comedians.
Here in the uk, if someone is shit, the audience rip into them

Do not forget Rick Mayall and Ade Edmondson, if you find them funny you will die of laughter.
Ofcourse there is the chance you will hate it, just give it a try.
Try Bottom, The Dangerous brothers (if you can find it), Guesthouse Paradiso, Filthy Rich and Catflap, The Young Ones, and some other shit I cannot remember now.

Do not forget Spaced aswell, I managed to miss this first time around and only watched it after learning about Shawn of the Dead.

Rik and Ade do scripted stuff mainly now, rather than pure standup. I agree their funny as hell though. Spaced is a sitcom and shaun of the dead (typo there tak, tsk. ) is same.
I thought we were talking standup?
