That's because it searches your shared folder too, and then matches the sources  You sent the list to the server, that list is cached and looked up first.

You never wondered why it matches your shares instantaneously?

WOW!!! WHAT A BIATCH!!

ed2k: Comedy.Central.Presents.[6x06].Adele.Givens.[BuckTV].avi  [98.21 Mb] [Stats]

Her 'sister with an attittude' image disgusts me! The way she always has to point out how much better she is, and how she knows better, and would do better than anyone else, when she's obviously just some dumb skank, sure aint funny. 15 minutes talking about prices of clothes, followed up by RAPPING!!! Then trying to pass it off as poetry. bah. Wasn't funny 1 damn second. Had I been there I'd yelled at her to get the fuck off the stage.

I've yet to see one good female stand-up.

You'd get escorted off by several large bodyguards I assure you, she'd probably start crying and then everyone would look at you as if you were scum.

Okay one goal acheived, another nothing new... but you would get a hefty beating from those guards

Has any one from the states been to a standup show? I'm only going off interviews. It seems a bit odd that heckling wouldn't allowed. Hell heckling is half the fun

Actually you have a point about funny female comedians, I can't think of one which is kind of bad. Anyone?

It depends Spud,Usually at concert halls and arena's there is no heckling...you get some people yelling in the crowd but usually the people themselves tell the offender to shut his yap.But something like a bar or nightclub situation...I have seen heckling...hell I have seen worse...Welcome to America
As far as female comedians...I can name a few off the top of my head that suck..Rossanne Barr....Ellen Degenerise(or however you write her name) adn a whole host of others that I have commited to forgotten memory.

I think Jo Brand is very funny :)

Her standup series 'Through the cakehole' was excellent and original.

That's an awful LOT of woman tho :o

Taken from imdb, review of 'Through the cakehole'

Jo Brand, as a comedienne, is a performer that can either make you laugh out loud or make you shout obscenities at the television. There's really no in between, you either love her or hate her. Her frank, vulgar stand-up routine is certainly not to everyone's tastes, but if you enjoy a bit of crude humour then you really can't go far wrong with Ms. Brand. I personally think she is extremely funny, so this series was a lot of fun for me.

In short, it was a showcase for Brand to weave her stand-up act with some comedy sketches. In the case of subject matter, there really was no new low to sink, for this was the epitome of base humour. The most popular topics to spout out of her mouth are men (and her hatred of them), food (and her love of it) and her appearance (in her own words, "Oh blimey, the fat bird's got a telly show!"). Whilst the routine was usually faultless, it was clear that it could easily run out of steam very fast, so Brand milks it for all it's worth, and is usually scathingly funny with it.

Jeez that's a very good pic of her, she's not usually that photogenic :-o

I remember seeing Hattie Hayridge ( 2nd Holly in Red Dwarf) doing a stand up routine.

She was quite funny but very dry.

Ellen Degeneres is my pick for funniest comedienne. Margaret Cho is pretty good. Roseanne's old stuff was great. I used to like Rosey O'Donnell before she got her own show. Jeneane Garofalo is pretty hilarious at times. Very dark.

Is kinda fun. You only see about a minute & 1/2 of each, but it's still interesting to see how so many sit-com personalities and c-celebrities actually started out as stand-ups! The narrative by 5 other stand-ups who can't get their tounge out of each others asses is kinda unnessesary though.

ed2k: killing.them.softly.(stand.up.comedy).avi  [348.00 Mb] [Stats] with Dave Chappelle, is the best damn show I've seen in ages though. Most of these shows I laugh a little every now and then, but with this one I was bursting with laughter all the way through!

Jo Brand is cool, she once said that she burnt her bra in the seventies, and it was used for fires in a small village for a whole week.
