I skimmed through this, and it looks a lot better than the R-rated version. The editing is MUCH neater in some of the gorier scenes, the color tone seems a little different, and a strange bit I noticed towards the end...

SPOILERS
When Elwes is about to cut off his foot, Adam says, "I have family too, man, I just don't make time for them, that's my fault." I don't remember that in the cut version. Maybe so audiences wouldn't feel so bad thinking he's dead at the end. :roll:

Look at the cover, The Guardian compares this to Seven. Besides, AFAIR it was Se7en, not Se7ven. Learn l337$P34k, morons!

I watched it at the movie theatre and I hated every minute of it.
Now maybe if it didn't take itself so seriously - Seven had something to talk about, this is a joke told with a straight, dreary face. Horror movies should be about fear, not about anxiety.

There are many good ideas in the mix, but in the end they are overshadowed by lame acting and too many silly moments...it's not that awful, though, especially when you know that it was shot in only 18 days.

I'm willing to overlook some of the bad acting because

1.) It was shot in 18 days
2.) Thanks to the low budget, most scenes had only one take, leaving no room for improvement
3.) Both leads had accents to mask, making the acting all the more awkward
