When you think of the modern horror comic, Berni Wrightson immediately comes to mind! He's well known for his numerous stories and illustrations for 70's DC horror comics, and probably his best-loved work in the field of comic books is his brilliant ten issue run of Swamp Thing. He's also illustrated Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, and his artwork on that book is often considered his most powerful and beautiful work to date. It stands as a great artistic statement by one of modern comics' greatest artists. He drew on influences such as Graham "Ghastly" Ingels, Frank Frazetta, Franklin Booth, Roy Krenkel, Everett Raymond Kinstler, and many others to become one of comics' most respected artists.

found through a search

    Collection of early 80's
    comics that reprinted Wrightsons
earlier works from CREEPY and EERIE magazine

anthology series ala Tales From the Crypt

the true Master Of the Macabre
creator of Swamp Thing (w/alan moore)
    did incredible illustrations for
    Mary Shelly's Frankenstein
    lots of comic work

Note: PC comics were one of the original
independant companies that tried to compete
with the big 2 Marvel and DC - by featuring
wonderfully creative new stories and universes .
but alas they all disappeared (besides Cerebus)

NOTE 2: some archives are in the CBZ format ,
treat them as RAR or ZIP files

4-7MB each
very nice quality scans

all are now currently in the shares (at release priority) , sorry for the delay , will have some more (found) releases hopefully soon , best viewed with CDisplay - Sequential Comic Viewer , also feel free to change the file names to *.cbz as that will naturally launch CDisplay (hashes stay the same)
