UNCUT 89 min import print of aka 'Demons 6 : De Profundis
/The Black Cat/Out of the Depths' the very rarely seen 1990
horror film from Luigi Cozzi. Mark Ravenna, a famous Italian
horror film director, sets out to script his latest film
entitled 'Suspiria : De Profundis'. His film is based on
Dario ArgentoÆs 'Suspiria' and 'Inferno' and deals with the
story of Levana, Queen of all Witches. Levana is the eldest
of the three mistresses of darkness, mother of madness, most
powerful of all evil. Ravenna is warned not to make his film
in fear of actually summoning Levana to the present day. He
does not heed these warnings and casts his wife Anne to play
the lead role of Levana. Anne reads the script and is then
haunted and terrorized by the evil witch who tells her she
will suffer terrible tortures if she continues, and that
everyone involved with the production will suffer dire con-
sequences.
A very enjoyable film starring Florence Guerin, Urbano Bar-
berini, Caroline Munro, Michele Soavi, Brett Halsey, Luisa
Maneri and Karina Huff. Our Japanese version contains the
always missing Caroline Munro footage (sexy footage) and is
more complete than ANY other version. This includes the
Greek version, as well as the TV version shown on USA's
'Sci-fi Channel'.

I think it is a matter of marketing...It really isn't any sort of sequel to Demons at all.

Nope, that's another fake sequel directed by Lamberto Bava, a TV movie made for Italyand the original title is "La Casa dell'Orco"[http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095775/]; the movie I was talking about before is called Black Demons in USA, and there is another movie also nown as Demoni III, which is "The Church" by Michele Soavi: obviously it has nothing to do with the original Demons flicks[http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094860/].
So we have 2 official Demons (1 and 2) and 3 unofficial Demons III
The Sect (La Setta) is another Michele Soavi movie aka Demons 4, but it's still a totally different movie.[http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100581/]
Demons 5 The Devil's Veil is the USA title for Lamberto Bava's "La Maschera del Demonio", another TV-production from 1989.
