| La Noche Del Terror Ciego (1971) | | Review: In the 13th century there existed a legion of evil knights known as the Templars , who quested for eternal life by drinking human blood and committing sacrifices. Executed for their unholy deeds, the Templars bodies were left out for the crows to peck out their eyes. Now, in modern day Portugal, a group of people stumble on the Templars abandoned monastery, reviving their rotting corpses to terrorize the land. Screenshots: |
| El Ataque de los Muertos Sin Ojos (1973) | | Review: 500 years after they were blinded and executed for committing human sacrifices, a band of Templar knights returns from the grave to terrorize a rural Portuguese village during it’s centennial celebration. Being blind, the Templars find their victims through sound, usually the screams of their victims. Taking refuge in a deserted cathedral, a small group of people must find a way to escape from the creatures. Screenshots: |
| El Buque Maldito (1974) | | Review: Two young girls travel in a newly constructed boat at sea. This event should make a propaganda for this new construction. The wireless radio contact breaks suddenly. The search expedition comes across an old sail ship populated by bloody zombies. It seems there is no escape from the undead templars... Screenshots: |
| La Noche de las Gaviotas (1975) | | Review: The Knight Templars return in this fourth installment of the Blind Dead seris. On this outing, the Templars haunt a fishing village, where they rise seven nights every seven years to claim their sacrificial offerings in return for the safety of the townspeople. Wow, nice collection, Vae Victis! I'm sure to click 'em all in the near future, except for "Tombs..." because I already got that one on DVD.
For now I have one remark: the link in the post for La Noche de las Gaviotas (1975) is actually the link to El Buque Maldito (1974).
Cheers for this new collection!

Try another time. I jusyt checked and it is a bit slow, but when I started again, it worked.
If it doesn't work a few consecutive times, try another mirror. If it still doesn't work, post what it says here.

Ah, I thought you had problems downloading the program eMule!
Problems downloading files in eMule are usually solved by consulting the Help section (press the button on the upper right corner). Start reading the FAQ, even if they are about topics you don't wanna know about yet. After the FAQ, read "General Information". These two sections deal with most problems you encounter when you first start downloading with eMule.
Also very helpful: http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewtopic.php?t=4
Please take the time to read before you try something. It pays back!

In eMule Help "General Information" there's a topic called "Icons" (it;s the first one) and the second one is called "Colors of the progress bar". There's your answer.
Please read the stuff I posted above and try to ask questions that don't have an answer in the eMule Help or in the topic I linked in my previous post.

I have a subs problem. The .idx and .sub files won't load on my DVD player. Are there any .srt files available? And if not, does anyone know how to make the other subs work on a standalone?

install vobsub 2.23.exe.
Go to programs, vobsub & start subresync.
change the language in the dropdown to english & save as .srt
You'll have to type in the characters that come up but its dead easy & wont take you long, then spell check it with subtitle workshop.

Thanks for the advice! I'm gonna try that.
One more thing: characters that come up? Which characters?

Letters, numbers & punctuation...
basically sub/idx is pictures & what youre doing is converting these pictures into a text file srt.
subresync remembers the characters as you type them so as long as you got a clear sub/idx you should have it done in a few minutes. Occasionally you get a crappy one that you have to type the same charcters a few times or a character that it doesnt recognise correctly that you just skip through but thats reasonably rare

Yes, I just saw what happened. Quite annoying, lol. How to type italic, by the way? I know the alt-codes for letters like é, but not for italic...
