In my opinion... the only movies that really deserved a spot on the nasty-list is .. Faces of Death (most of it, if not all, is offcourse fake, but it's more the topic of the movie that can be found a bit shocking).

And.... Dont Go Near the Park.... for being horrendously Lame!.

Wasnt it Driller Killer that got banned because of the cover-art and poster?
Can clearly remember how dissapointed i got when i saw that one....

Some unverified ferox rips:
flesh.for.frankenstein.uncut.ripped.by.ferox..avi
the beyond.ripped.by.ferox.uncut.(fulci)..avi
snuff.uncut.ripped.by.ferox..avi
There's already better rips for 'The Beyond' and 'Snuff' available, these links were added just for the sake of completeness ;)

And a new verified/shared VN OST
Zombie.Flesh-Eaters.(Zombi.2).-.Fabio.Frizzi.-.1979-KOROSHiYA.[iGS].rar
Third link for the same OST.

Had to change the 'The Video Nasties' header image, as for some odd reason it wouldn't show up anymore (though it went thru invis.anonymizer)... if you have/find/make some nice small 'The Video Nasties' header image or gif, please post. :)

Ok, I'll check out if there's complete sources for it. If there is, I'll move it to verified status when updating the collection next time.

Thanks :)

I might be the only full source for ferox's snuff, I've had very few hits from it. I'll release if needs be.

@ Maccie. Never seen any rips of MGM in ed2k..

@ MCMLXXXVIII. Ok. I'll move it to green status then. Let me know if you can verify/are sharing some other ferox rips. There's quite many links in the collection already. I doubt that release of Snuff would be needed. That BlooDWeiSeR rip is quite well spread. :)

Sorry Iconoclast but I couldn't work out where to post this, I'm a newbie. Feel free to move it as you see fit. I am aware of 2 cut films in the list, Madhouse (see my post in movie requests for details of this) and Prisoner/Mountain of the Cannibal God. This is ripped from the Vipco DVD which is missing the worst of the animal cruelty. Could anyone confirm Blood Bath (the title Bay of Blood is a cut DVD in both the UK and US), if this is cut then I have seen it knocking around on BT recently under its uncut US title of Twitch of the Death Nerve.

Given my nick I should have remembered this last night, blame the beer. :beerchug:

The PCA rip of Nightmares in a Damaged Brain is taken from the UK DVD and is cut as follows

Quote:
Cuts
R0 - These scenes were cut comparing to the uncut-version (running times are refering to the UK-dvd):

-00:07:58: Dream sequence of George: Although this version INCLUDES the aforementioned shot of the boy hitting the headless torso with his axe, a SECOND whack to the torso is still missing. About 3 sec.
-00:16:21: George in the "peep-show": Dream sequence shots are missing.
-00:26:17: George murders the woman: Few shots are missing, including a close-up of a throat-slashing and stabbing in the stomach. About 8 sec.
-00:26:33: George murders the woman: About 5 seconds of cuts.
-00:27:04: George murders the woman: A bloody "hand licking" etc is cut. About 6 sec.
-01:21:38: The hammer murder: George hits the woman two times more in the back. Close-ups, and other shots missing. About 9 sec.
-01:23:54: C.J. shoots George at first time: Shots missing, about 47 sec.
-01:27:47: C.J. shoots George with the rifle: The second shot on the leg is is cut. About 1 sec.
-01:31:11: The "final nightmare": George hits a woman on the back. About 3 sec. of shots missing.
-01:31:38: The "final nighmare": Missing is a close-up of the father's head spewing frothy blood from his axe wound. About 4 sec.

Kunstvideo released a VCD in Germany in 2001 with an English soundtrack that claims to be uncut but is still bizzarely missing the 1:27:47 cut, the others are intact but it still seems a bit short. Maybe some dialogue is missing but I guess anyone on this board would trade a bit of dialogue for extra gore. :D

I guess the BlackThrash rip that was once listed but has been removed was from the pre-cert video as was his other stuff, this was cut but as it was the actual video nasty some people may still want this. I don't know anything about the Ferox rip.

One more possible cut I should mention, the US title of Anthropophagous the Beast was the Grim Reaper and to my knowledge all prints with this title are cut. The Japanese subbed version is uncut though, but the opening credits scene is in French.

Is Maccie starting a thread on what movies we think deserved their place on the nasties list. IMO just the cannibal films, real animal killings are not on, anything faked is OK. But if I remember correctly the muskrat scene was cut from the Cannibal Holocaust video, and the turtle scene trimmed to the point I thought it was already dead. I'd have to see it again but maybe that one was OK in this form.

I can understand people having problems with Faces of Death if they think it's real, other than that no probs with any of them.

This is the right place =)
A big thanks to you for posting all that info. I'll start to add UNCUT or CUT tags after each ed2k link. Hopefully we'll get all of them verified/tagged. :D

Hmm... I don't even remember it being listed here. But here's the link: Nightmare In A Damaged Brain(1981).Blackthrash.avi. I really hope there's some complette sources for it.

Damnit. Now I have to download that rip too :wacky:

Thanks!
Please keep posting more cut info. =)

In addition to those I've mentioned, the following rips are uncut:

ed2k: Blood.Feast.[Herschell.Gordon.Lewis,.1963].avi  [572.24 Mb] [Stats] although it's not deinterlaced and has some corruption
ed2k: Dont.Go.Near.The.Park.1981.VHSRip.DivX-GrimRippers.avi  [693.35 Mb] [Stats] at least it's from the pre-cert Intervision tape which looks cut to me, maybe it's just a badly made film
ed2k: evilspeak.uncut.ripped.by.ferox..avi  [696.12 Mb] [Stats]
ed2k: Faces.of.Death.xD.avi  [700.44 Mb] [Stats]
ed2k: The.House.on.the.Edge.of.the.Park.avi  [634.60 Mb] [Stats], there was some controversy as to whether this was uncut or not but it's the Dutch EC Entertainment release, uncut
ed2k: Island.Of.Death.1975.DVDivX-CuLTdivX-iNTeRNaL.avi  [698.20 Mb] [Stats]

I can't say for definite that Bay of Blood is cut, the Blood Bath VHS had that title on the screen, I reckon it probably is if it's a DVD rip but the following should help

Quote:
The first murder of a teenage girl loses 2s in 2 cuts, the first of her throat being cut from behind and the other of a graphic hatchet blow to the head.
21s (nearly the entire scene) is cut from a boy dying with a machete embedded in his face.
3 cuts totally 9s diminish the death of couple impaled with a spear whilst making love. We love the blood welling from the wounds and their writhing whilst impaled.
11s has been cut from the death of Simon being forced up a wall by a spear impaled in his stomach.

I ripped this from MelonFarmers, is it against forum rules to say that? MelonFarmers is a site you mention on page one of the VN board so maybe not.

One more issue, the Human Experiments cover on page 1 is the wrong film, Vipco renamed Small Town Massacre as Human Experiments. I could scan the pre-cert cover if you want though :D , sorry I can't help with the film but I can't cap VHS.

Ok. Thank you. I'll tag those rips rightaway. Yes, I think too that Bay Of Blood rip is unfortunely cut.

Nope. Not against rules. Perfectly ok to post info/reviews/material like that. :)

Great. I'll fix that asap. Please post the pre-cert cover if this isn't the right one:

Btw, I tagged 'The Last House On The Left' as CUT, even though the unique rip is from MGM R1 DVD which is most uncut version of the movie available... but still it just isn't fully uncut version. Check out this: http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewtopic.php?t=1976 topic to see what I mean. :)

Can anyone confirm if Axe.(1974).avi is cut? To me, it looks very much like it would be a cut version. For example; the beating scene in beginning of the film, store-scene, when two of the mobsters chase some guy to woods - then suddenly they are just back inside the house, bathtub scene, 'fireplace axe scene'. These scenes just look very "mutilated" or did they just shot the movie so badly? Don't know if fully uncut version was even ever released...(?)

Hmm, I've not seen this rip but I have seen the uncut version and none of the scenes you describe are graphic, in fact the film is fairly bloodless. The bathroom and fireplace axe scenes do cut to another shot as each blow hits. I think the controversy over this film surrounds the rape scene, If Lisa carves at her attacker's neck with a cut-throat razor it should be uncut. All this is assuming that the R1 DVD on Something Weird is uncut at 68.04 (NTSC), but this is a widely-held belief.

Hm, guess it is uncut then. Razor scene is there. Just that movie has same kind of feel like LHOTL (and it is cut badly. Meaning, 'gore' scenes just cut way too fast and awkwardly. Several scenes (like that chase scene) end kinda incoherently...

Might be though, that movie was made just so. And it isn't cut at all... just 68mins is very short running time. I feel like some good 10 minutes is missing here ;)

But I tagged it as uncut in collection anyway.

Once again, thanks for the info George.

Okay as a result of the poll (8 voted for cleaning, 1 against) I moved the release posts and replies for them to proper release sections. :)

Here are those topics "born" from the splitting:

The Toolbox Murders
Forest of Fear
Madhouse
Night School a.k.a Terror Eyes
Night of the Bloody Apes
Revenge of the Boogeyman
Evilspeak

Please, post all future VN's release posts to release sections and if you have questions/feedback/etc. for any of the old releases (topic list above), make your post in the release topic of that rip. Hopefully, it's better now. I think it is... at least releases are in proper places now. :)

Keep posting feedback, cut-info, comments, questions - everything about The Video Nasties/Collection here. Not many missing titles anymore, almost complete! :D

New VN releases coming soon !
Next Sunday: 'The Werewolf And The Yeti'
