Post subject:  Return Of The Living Dead Part II - New Audio Track? FIXED!
Okay, For those who really loved this movie, such as myself, Bought it and got it home to find out that TERRIBLE New audio track on it with the lame 70's porno music in the background made you very sick and you couldn't watch it all the way through like that! Well I solved that problem.. This is seariously A movie I grew up watching, I loved the new video transfer, But that Audio track pissed me off. So after a long time working on restoreing the original Laserdisc audio to Dolby Digital 5.1 I Synced it into the movie, wich was not easy at all. So Now I have the DVD, Same high picture quality, but with the original audio! In Dolby Digital 5.1 none the less! I plan on shareing this with everyone soon. I also scanned the Laserdisc and made some pro DVD Art for it and DVD Menu, The only thing I couldn't save was the Commentary. But having the original audio track is worth it all for me! I saved the trailer and everything else. Here is the pictures of the DVD Case I made from the original Laserdisc, Check it out. It's all original, I Replaced the lame Warner Brothers logo with the classic Lorimar Video logo as well so it would have an older look. Let me know what you guys think and if you want me to add it!

I'm gonna sound like a n00b now, but I'll take that.

I have this movie on DVD, an I just checked it, and only sometimes there's some sort of synth music in the background. It wasn't disturbing me at all, but I must say that I have never seen this movie before (yes, there are many, many DVDs on my shelves that I haven't watched yet).

Is it this synth music you lament? Or are you talking about something different?

I checked my DVD again and indeed the score differs between the English and the French audiotrack. Quite weird when you switch in the middle of a theme and the theme just isn't there anymore in the other audiotrack :wacky:

...me too, I hate when they change music, like they did with The Thing.

...Nauls rollerskating about was so much better with the Stevie Wonder tune than with the toss it got replaced with....

The screen caps are the same as the store-bought DVD, I just took the original audio from the Laserdisc. They really ruined the whole movie putting that cheesy audio in it, And that's what slowed down us getting the release, Sucks huh? It shouldn't be too much longer before I have it up, I'm learning to use EMule and I love it. Full .VOB's... Wow... I thought i'd never find half of this stuff. :D

great stuff!! i got this with the new audio to, but at least there was the original audio include but no 5.1 quality.... anyway great cover you did and good work.. :beerchug:
