I forced a 4:3 on it and the midgets went on an express diet plan. The guy still fucked it up, the picture is very, very soft, the contrast seems way off and it's
a bit too reddish for my tastes. Or maybe it was the source's fault. Or maybe just my display

Anyway even with a correct AR it's still a very LOW Q.
As for the movie itself, it's exactly what you'd expect. A bunch of young people (don't know if they're supposed to be teenagers - for which they're clearly too old - and don't care) get lost in some caves in India with a really fake giant centipede (mutated, you guessed it, by some magical "toxic waste") that ejaculates on its victims and with enough wooden "acting" to keep you warm through an entire winter, if you happen to have a fireplace.
The chicks aren't really hot (I think whoever cast them must have had some kind of a Tomb Raider fetish), the bugs (yes, plural, but it's really just one model and some hand puppets or something) are really cheap, laughable fakes, the High Tech University of Hyderabad Geology Dept guys are using a laptop sonar with WMP running and all speak with a ridiculous accent (or is it just a bad dub). Oh yeah, and the score sounds like it was stolen from a HoMM game.
And on a final note - I didn't know that you can extinguish a flare by splashing it with some water...
Still much more entartaining than Alone in the Dark. Mr Bollocks, please take some notes.
