if a dvd is 4.7gb or under i'll just use dvd decrypter and then burn it. If its over 4.7gb and needs to be compressed, I use Apollo DVD Copy. It's pretty good. U can copy the whole dvd giving the option to take out subtitles and audio tracks so u get higher video res. Or u can just copy the main movie to a video-ts folder ensuring awsome quality. Even dual layered dvd's turn out good quality. I have'nt tried too many of these dvd copy programs but I got way better results with Apollo then other ones like dvdshrink.

What other good dvd copy programs are out there that arent just one clickers?

DVDrebuilder, you been living under a rock or something? :)

I mean seriously, its been the best ever since it launched about a year ago. Guides @ http://www.doom9.org etc. Can use CCE and other encoders, but CCE is by far the best.

DVDrebuilder is likely to mae apollo look like cat barf, not that i've ever heard of apollo but transcoding is an inferior process to re-encoding. The pro version of DVDrebuilder has loads more options than the normal one. I registered it ages ago.

DVD Rebuilder here as well. Thing is when you see this question asked on other forums, everyone answers DVD Shrink (which is pants of course).

However - I've just spotted this http://www.shrinkto5.com/. Don't know much about it, but if I get some time I'll give it a bash.

urggh yeah dvdshrink is awful. its the worst piece of crap, but its like realmedia player or something like that... people only recommend crap like that because they don't have the sense to know otherwise.

Not seen that other one, it even has sourcecode which is a good sign... its not CCE so i doubt it will be anywhere near as good as dvdrebuilder in the end.
