nah, it?s most probably not. we just need to sort out our options, find a new host and all. it wasn?t totally unexpected since our old host originally just wanted to give us three months of free hosting to see how much traffic etc. we use and then make us an offer, but they never did and hosted us for, i think, 9 months for free, which was pretty awesome, but it couldn?t last forever, especially when our userbase increased all of a sudden after FN?s most recent downtimes and SR?s slowing down. the notice of us getting kicked didn?t leave gio much time to react, even more so since he has exams going on atm. we will be back as soon as we find a new host, that is all and i should add the Database will be saved!

yup, that's summed up pretty well. The admins are just trying to locate a server that doesn't mind ed2k and can handle the large bandwidth consumption/processor time.

Seems with the down time of so many other sites, fh.org is feeling the strain of a larger userbase. I suspect that the admins will be able to sort something out without excessive downtime :)

Oh yes, and fileheaven back up their database nearly as regularly as I do on this new server :)

They have a new host sorted just a matter of uploading the files, restoring the massive database. I'd imagine they will take this opportunity to update the board to the latest version and what have you :)
