I know this one.

First, place a nice lump of thermite on top of your monitor.

Second, ignite the thermite, how you do this is up to you, use google.

Solution, the message will be gone forever.

may i suggest seriously considering not using that poor forum software.

http://www.phpbb.org

I have used vbulletin and i never will again, I just don't think the way its programmed (or rather scripted) is particularly sound.

Beyond that, i can't particularly remember, in phpbb its in the admin panel and other messages are found in language/lang-english/main.php, they are probably in similar locations.

Gotta agree wit hthis guy Zod.

I've started dabbling in forum/bulletin code having got to grips with PHP.

Started with vbulletin and wasn't pleased.
So moved to PHPbb and was alot happier.

Plus this site uses PHPbb so it's gotta rock

I have used many versions of phpbb, by itself and together with phpnuke, postnuke, I have done lots of hacks for phpbb and the trueth is that it pissed me off. I have now for first time installed vbuletin, version 3.09 and the install went much faster, I am able to edit shit remotly fast and havent experience problems yet. Now I am just trying to make it look at simple as possible since the forum I have is populated by jerks with no computer knowledge at all....
Anyways I guess I have to continue with my search.
Thanks Spud for your input.

It was very easy, just edited one of the style sheets. I somehow followed Takoboy?s advice and did some seriously google.
Thanks again to all.

What?!?!?!

You actualy followed my advice?????? LMFAO

Is your monitor OK?

Glad you got it sorted.

P.S. send me the reci[pe for thermite, I am too scared to look incase the police see me searching and then I will get framed with a rucksack and then I will get shot at and then I will get chased though the underground and I am so scared of the dark and then I will get a bit claustrophobic ad then I will put a full stop at the end of this sentence .
