Me too obviously. Unfortunately you forgot to IVTC so you've got some duplicate frames:

I probably sound like a broken record by now, but it should significantly increase the quality of the rips.

Basically, you missed a step when you were ripping, it comes either when you prepare the vobs or apply the filters. When you use DVD2Avi or DGMPGDec, hit F5 to do a preview... you'll see on the right some stats. Here you can find out the film percentage, a lot of the time it will say FILM 95% (or above). If it is, then you need to select FORCE FILM from the menu. This removes 6 frames of data per second, otherwise your bitrate is wasted on duplicate data and you get ghosting (or interlaced frames)

If you ripped in gknot it tells you what you need to do in the text next to the button that launches this app.

If it doesn't say FILM 95% or above, then your not out of the woods either. You need to bring up your preview window, and press the right arrow key and watch the frames, if a sequence of frames are progressive and then some are interlaced, you need to enable IVTC in the filter menu.

If you used autogknot, its not very good at picking these things up

One of the many reasons why in an ideal world, NTSC would be completely erradicated

I have released a couple of movies Spud, jeewizz.
I always IVTC, BUT must have missed it on this one. All well, the quality is fine anyway. I never notice a difference of framerates, just bitrate. At least its not that annoying PAL framerate. If you think I'm gonna complain its now in the LQ section, I would, but what good would it do? None. (Who was that one guy who flipped shit over his ripped being moved? The mods were so nice about but he got all sandy vagina and said hes wouldn't release here anymore, LOL, what a flacid prick) I assure everyone here, its HQ, though. The bitrate is over 1000, so the motion is smooth, without artifacts. The color and AR are correct, and the sound is sufficient. But hey, this is Spud world, so he's got the final say. It plays on my standalone perfectly, so all the bases I care about are covered. Its kind of annoying to find this out now, since I spread it twice on S-C, giving 600+ peeps the rip. Bogus.

And the french audio was never not sourced BTW, connect to razorback or KAD to make sure you see it.

I'd redo this one out of sheer guilt but its been spread enough for now.
Seeing it in the theatre must've rocked! I saw Blood Feast in the theatre, but that's weak HG Lewis film IMO.
