Cool...that's some sweet old-school thrash! Cool
btw right now I'm listening to Holy Terror ("Terror & Submission")...awesome old-school band.

(de beste wensen nog h?...)

That Holy Terror is great! Actully never heard the band before... Getting more and more into old school stuff (esp. thrash) lately, thanks to the stuff released on Barbarian Wrath and Witches Brew. Probably my two favourite labels.

Found this:

...but I'm not sure if it's the original or the re-release...looking at the file size, I guess it's the re-release without the extra tracks. :?

Yeah, it is the re-release. Already grabbed that one. :(

I don't know when he posted that but i think he's asking for more AC/DC, not crappy Deicide. Never liked 'em but i'm not so much into this blastbeat infested death metal. Bores me to death.
Now blasting: Whiplash - Power and Pain - Last Man Alive.
Now THAT's thrash.

It wasn't an assault on you or something, back down.
I know those bands, thanks. What do you think about your countrymen Megiddo? Might be my favourite Canadian band.

We need more life in this thread guys!

Razor...cool! I love the way their -Violent Restitution- album takes off with the high pitched screaming on "The Marshall Arts".
I also like, Canadian, (old school) bands like Sacrifice, Slaughter, D.B.C., Infern?l M?jesty and Blasphemy.

Does any of you actually buy their music? Not accusing anybody, just curious.
Blasphemy is of corpse great, same for Slaughter and Sacrifice. From the other two bands i don't have anything.
What about Axis of Advance, great war metal from Canada. I must admit i only have The List from them but the rest will come.

I've been listening to the (british) Sabbat again recently, and they ROCK, I'd forgotten just how much I like them.

I used to...I've spend shitloads of cash on vinyl & cd's!!!
And years ago I was also into the tape-trading (yes cassette tapes!) underground scene.
I've been a guitar&drum-tech/roadie for years, thus having connections with many bands, I can get most (promo) stuff for free.
But occasionally I'll buy stuff at gigs...

*now playing: DARK ANGEL - Darkness Descends - The Burning Of Sodom --->(IMO one of the best thrashmetal bands...ever!)

Hehe, actually almost all my money is spent on records. It's an addiction. There are of course many 'small' labels and bands around who need the money in order to continue but i also buy albums from 'bigger' bands although these band ususually have some kind of lower priority. On the other hand, i NEVER buy a dvd, i think i've got 5 originals and don't give a shit about them.
