err i don't get it, whats that got to do with this rip? its obviously a completely different rip... its not as if there's only one copy of this movie on dvd or anything, its available to buy in any asian DVD store (which you should do if you enjoyed it).

This is the rip Nomad mentioned that was realeased on BT and then moved over to the mule.

The rip was posted at ACF and panned by most people for being oversized, bad playback & no subs thats why I ripped & released it.

What it's got to do with this one is just what I wrote - it's a curiosity.

a) at first I though it's an excercise in retagging, since I didn't even know there was any other rip (or I forgot if I read about it)

b) the DVD might be widly available, but I couldn't find any information about any other rips anywhere except for this little piece of (i)nfo, which I also came by by an accident, and the movie doesn't appear to be that well known and doesn't even have an IMDb entry (sure, that doesn't mean much, but they do list a lot of shit); also the Mr.Flibble rip is the only one I've seen available on ed2k (just made another search and still couldn't see the other one)

c) I found the info a bit suspicious, since I thought it's rather strange to get a decent 1CD rip in DX5 at 1200kbps with audio at 192... but that might be just because of my ignorance, since I basically know just two things about ripping - Jack and shit. And Jack left town.

If it's confusing or something I can just delete my post.

I reckon I know a bit about ripping though and thought it must be either really low res or a very short film to do that, just checked the nfo and I was wrong on both counts so it does look odd

The nfo doesn't mention the filesize of the rip, if it did you'd notice how it got those specs the file size is 875mb.

Yes, it is i secondincmd, i was loafing around, googling my name, and stumbled across this forum, i can assure you, i am not taking credit for others work. that NFO you posted was from a rip we had done. Ziras was the encoder. didnt do the greatest of jobs, as far as the aspect ratio goes, but none the less, it was ours entirely, i own the DVD, flimsy blue case, bought it in thailand along with a bulk of other movies.

the torrent while long dead, is on datorrents.
