Well it wasn't just that Evil Dead 2 is better than Evil Dead, its that Dawn of the Dead is a lot better than both of them.

Evil Dead 2 would get closer to Dawn of the Dead in my estimation, but Evil Dead 1? Just a tad surpising given how much a better movie Dawn was imo, that people prefer Evil Dead.

My favourite Romero Zombie flick is 'Day'. That being said, 'Dawn' my second favourite.

It's something different with Evil Dead - that's one of my personal all time horror classics. Has to do with how I started out as a horror fan.
