All These Remakes

Im sure in 1981, people tryed to bash Carpenter for remaking 'The THing'.
There are many much older films that need updating, not 80s movies like the Fog. In that ones case both sucked! Wait they'll remake suspiria soon, or maybe even alien!

I just watched 2001 Maniacs.... basically a remake, more in common with the originals plot then say TCM remake had. So does that make it a remake technically, and does that make TCM a sequel? Hmmmm.... ponders over draft.....

Well, I think the culmination of remaking-gone-berserk is Hollywoodian "The Ring"! WTF, remake made just a few years after original!! Madness continues, and will continue whether we want it or not. But, again, who is forcing anyone to watch those crappy new stuff? (like Dr.Sapirstein said some time ago)
A can't complain, that's for sure - I usually don't buy movies (only in some rarely-fanatic cases).

The remakes Dawn Of The Dead and Texas Chainsaw Massacre pissed me off!!! I'm getting angry just by writing this post and remembering the abominations i saw. They fucking ruined both movies. In DOTD they replaced the cool brain-eating zombies with ugly athletes and converted the family in TCM from sick and twisted cannibals to stupid slashers. How can things get any worse?!
