Sid Vicious carved Gimme a Fix into his chest, and we all know what happened to him. As for Richey, I think he's been missing 11 years now which AFAIK makes him presumed dead.

That is the thing I love about this world, the shades of grey and the fact it is so easy to cross a line you think is in the distance. I have crossed many line in the past, no doubt I will in the future, it intrigues me to ponder what I have done and what I will do.

I'm also tattooed all over,piercings in all the wrong places,implants,scarification...however,I believe most folks (or at least me) do this coz they think it's pretty,like it,or like me;feel more complete.I can't imagine cutting yourself open day after day has anything to do with those reasons,unless you're a sucker for pain that is...

I didn't get my tats to get more attention,I cover em up most of the time,if I wanted attention,I'ld prolly show my pierced dick to every gal who walks by me

Yes, but I was thinking and associating at a very basic level.

They might do it to themselves, but on the same note we have allowed it to be done to us. The reasons may be completely opposite, but the fact remains you will cross that line into self mutilation.

I appreciate it is not the same, but atleast you get some understanding of why they do it. I personally find the pain quite invigorating when having a tat done, that sort of burning sting reminds me I am alive.

I also must confess I cut myself once when a teenager, seemed like an instant release at the time, trouble is it wasn't, it just left me with 2 cuts to the bone on my forearm and later 2 ugly scars. I was seriously lucky though, I still had enough marbles to realise it had not worked and never tried again.

The thought has crossed my mind though.

true,I think anyone with tats must admit they look forward to the next session

I for one always feel my adrenaline level rise when I walk by a shop in summer when the door is open....the sound...the smell of ink...such a rush... :wink:

Gotta say I never really got into piercings much, had a few done but TBH piercing holes in my body is not for me. Same with branding and all those other reborn ancient arts, bit too primal for me, that would hurt like fuck and that aint what I am after.

some piercings hurt indeed,but in my personal experience,implants hurt way more,cuz they actually cut you open,put something under your skin & close the hole again.this is usually done with a scalpel,so that hurts like fuck :wink:
