Removed hitchcock since he's a tad too critically favoured and made it horror people exclusive. Reduced them to 5 this round because of the number of choices. Quote and copy to maintain highlighting.

Wes Craven for being overrated looses a point, and i'll give it to cronenberg for all his early movies and the fact his new movies don't completely suck like a lot of the others.

Shame I don't have another - vote as I could correct the + given to John "I haven't made a decent film for 20 years" Carpenter.

But crappy though carpenter is now, he can't hold a candle to the piss poorness of Craven.

Bipbop, you worry me do you genuinely think Wes Craven is better than Cronenberg??

I've put my + next to Cronenberg, not because he's the best here (I didn't give it that much though), but to award him a - when Craven and Carpenter are still there is a gross misjustice :lol:

just to level up the good ones. as it's "best director", not "best director of the last decade". first carpenters = milestones
