Cronenberg could be the 2nd best director of horror films ever? Holy shit! :moon: :argue: :matrix: :eatthis:

He could indeed, in fact I'd place him higher than Romero, he's FAR more consistant (and he's more prolific too).

Yep. Cronenberg puts out consistently good movies. "Bruiser" and "The Dark Half" are horribly mediocre.

Yup, as much as I love Day Of The Dead, (my personal fave. Don't care what anyone else says) Cronenberg pips him.

For a man that defends Uwe Boll (and could very well be him ) I'm going to have to revoke the usage of that smiley!

I can understand why people prefer Day of the Dead, its probably the most morbid of the bunch. I watched it more in my insomniac days than the other two :)

 Have you actually seen both "The Fly"s??

Whilst the premise is the same, they're WILDLY different films
BTW Cronenberg has only "remade" 1 film, The Fly and it's a remake in name only IMHO.

true, but a remake is a remake, and NOT an original idea. And yes, I've ACTUALLY seen both flys........and all of their sequels as well. :googley:
