The initial audio on the dvd isn't that good either.
I couldn't hear a difference between a higher bitrate version and this one.

But let me know if you hear it and find it to be :moon:

Uh no, besweet did that for me.
Did try to keep it mono but it wouldn't let me.

I swear it has a mind of its own..

its dual mono probably.

which with adobe audtion you can tweak the phase and get a mock stereo sound.

you could be right, but i've had problems with besweet getting real mono. Besweet always refuses to encode at low bitrate and in mono for me. I usually end up using a different application to encode.

Well i used GoldWave (same app i used to force a low bitrate and blank out one of the audio channels on the vcdrips), but be careful with it and listen to the track (and check the sync) once you use it.
