What has happen with eDonkey?

it's says that the network is no longer available...

so this means no more eDonkey downloads?
Is there any other program i can use to make som "illegal" downloads?

Or is this just a temporary bug?

Cheers

eMule

They can't really close down the network just damage it by restricting the application edonkey,

I suppose overnet will be gone, but if everyone uses eMule there'll be no problem, but YES using edonkey means no more downloads.
Using eMule means happy days :beerchug:

edonkey has been dead for about 2 years, its hilarious suggest its dead when edonkey has long since been dead.

Overnet is inferior to KAD, edonkey is inferior to emule. You should have switched ages ago ;)

Lol except I bet that DAP is unaffected!

http://www.dapcentral.org/

They disable overnet to begin with.

btw, if you insist on using edonkey2000 dispite its infinite crappiness, i think ed2k lite still works. I really wouldn't recommend it. Emule's filter a lot of edonkey clients off the network since they are crappy and don't play fair. Its why in the emule stats you'll see 98% emule 1% ed2k and 1% other or some other ludicrous indication of reality :)

Wait until Spud gets out of bed, I'm sure he will wax lyrical about the whole subject. ;)

Yes, I performed the same experiment and found red cars go faster too.

Have you tried increasing the number of connections?* :wacky:

* note, that's an old joke :)

To anyone else with this issue, I found a quick fix for it. Disconnect your LAN or ethernet cable. Load up Edonkey and let it load fully. Reconnect your cable and then connect to the server you want. Presto.

I'm only doing it to finish the current downloads I have. As soon as they are done, I think I'll be switching to the Mule.
