what is that "pumpkinhead franchise" invading bizness ????

its a shame really, the original pumpkinhead was such a nice flick (and still is, its been aging quite well imo) .
i guess sci fi channel made the connection of the title characters name (head) with the 2006 halloween season and were like "hey why not go along with that theme for this years`halloween feature ? its not like it would require for us to come up with any intellectual, creative or technical efforts!"
