Based on a true story. Zee Oui, a young Chinese migrated from the mainland to escape poverty and cruelty, and more importantly, to run away from his own nightmares.... When he was a sick, dying child, his mother forced him to eat human hearts, with the belief that eating human organs will cure all illnesses. He was forced to do the same during the “Rape of Naking” war with Japan. His captain forced him to eat the enemy’s heart to make him strong and invincible, to cure him of his cowardice. When he arrived in Bangkok, Thailand, Zee Oui was full of hopes and dreams. The future looked promising. One day soon, he said to himself, he would bring his mother to come live with him. But things were not as it seemed since the first day he arrived. He was humiliated, jailed and abused. Then it went from bad to worse. Then the nightmare came back and the killer instinct was awoken. He started killing children one by one until a young, beautiful reporter with an abusive childhood decided to follow his trail and confront him face-to-face... |
