Well I loved it, very straw dogs/deliverance-a-like, but that's not a bad thing in a day and age of bland saw-a-like sequels and Asian remakes. Since the wonderful Dead Mans Shoes and now this Paddy Considine is fast becoming my fave current actor ohh he's in Simon Peggs new comedy.

If you like Paddy Considine check out 'A Room for Romeo Brass'.

His character starts out as a weird but daft loner who befriends two young boys, but he turns very nasty (in a great scene where Paddy shifts the tone on a sixpence) when one of the boys breaks off their friendship.

A Room for Romeo Brass is such a great little movie.

BTW, has anyone seen english subtitles for the spanish bits in this movie? There's quite a lot of spanish dialogue between Oldman and the locals.

I thought it was a very good film. Probably wont appeal to the gore-hungry on here, as there pretty much isn't any, but very good all the same.

There is quite a bit of unsubbed Spanish spoken, but I think it's fairly easy to work out what was going on. A bit ike Resident Evil 4. When they point and screech, you kinda know the mood. Still, I watched it with the wife, and she's pretty damn good with languages, so I was just being lazy.

Room For Romeo Brass is excellent. Shane Meadows makes some top stuff. Although Once Upon a Time in The Midlands was a bit feeble.

Ta.
