Sure this needs to be placed in the LQ section but not to have people being so negative, here's why

other than the odd older vhs rip back on mazys. I don't rip purely for the reason by the time things hit my country, they've been online days sometimes weeks even months, and no point doing something that is pretty much easy to find elsewhere.

This is why I think WolfCreek needs to be commended for this, he beat the scene not once but twice in the same week, with this and another of a real subbed version of Ils. To me its just negative to moan about slight rip glitches, it only sends out a message to discourage indie rippers specially when they're released on free to all sites or p2p and a great deal of the time films so odd the scene wouldn't touch 'em with Ron Jeremys cock like the stuff goreman posts here on hhah.

Also of note the scene rip a good 6-7 days later Prey.DVDRip.XviD-ReCode was nuked and needed to be repacked - Prey.DVDRip.REPACK.XviD-ReCod.

As for Ils its still not been done. Other than French only DVD, please just stop the negative replys or pretty soon we won't have much to reply too other than hand me down scene rips that arnt like i've stated without flaws them self.

Some of us got standarts of quality and they want to keep
the high level, its understandable.

If you got a good sound system and lcd/ plasma screen
at your home, you will want to have only high rips for more

The rest of the comments are extremely light-hearted, so where is this negativity you speak of? Wolfcreek released this on T3, so I hardly think that he'll even read the comments on an eMule site, let alone allow them to affect his decision on whether or not he uploads anything there in future.

hehe... I'm not being dramatic about the rip with that comment, its directed at the inanely stupid suggestion that i've heard for about 5 years that because something is free its immune from its problems. It seems persistant amongst some who don't try and aim for quality rips themselves that "its free" is thrown round like it means that what has been done is now not the case. Its still there, it would be better if it wasn't. That's all. Guess what, its free to fix it/not do it too

Its quite baffling in the end :lol:

I think its some misguided attempt to support the ripper, but once again, the statements are never malicious or negative, or anything like that

I'm very happy that this site has evolved to be very positive about rips, rippers and ripping (and i suspect a few members are positive about jack the ripper too :wacky:

As for the suggestion of negativity, I hope everyone sees there's been no discourtesies here (I don't think), only statements of the unfortunate problem. You don't learn unless people point out the problems. Someone pointed out to me way back when that i'd badly cropped, now I don't do it (mostly :lol:

). I know some people do take the statements of such things personally, but that's the wrong way to take it

I'm pretty pleased that for everyone that's run away in a huff, here, there's scores that have taken it on board and been better for it

As a side note, stating bad cropping explicitly helps the mods to spot if something needs to move

You mean the bordering? That's not actually the problem with bad cropping, its the fact that the bitrate is reduced by several hundred kb/s

The question is how are you playing this back? Walmart/aldi divx standalone and SD CRT tv? Media PC + hdtv plasma tv/projector? Makes all the difference
