Wow, seanboy is REALLY busy! He's so busy, he's managed to change ripping techniques forever! He has found a way to rip a movie in such a way that it matches the EXACT SAME HASH that grindcallus posted in a movie request thread on HHAH within a matter of days after its exclusive release here!

Ohh, actually, on second thought...
Usually people are able to fix the tracking on their VCRs! A better ripper would know to fix that before releasing a rip with poor tracking, and try again until tracking is at least decent. Well, better luck with your next VHSrip, seanboy!

That's still pretty bad, although not as bad as retagging. A problem that is prevailent in the BT world unfortunately. I don't really see why, it's not like the file plays any different when you remove the ripper's tag.

only time i retag is if the source or year is missing or its one of those retarded:
Movie.by.SomeGuy@this.for.some.site.avi
I tend to change them to:
Movie.Year.Source.Codec-SomeGuy.avi
I'm still planning on writing an indexer and it will make it easier in the long run

when the so called rippers tag take over the information of the movie...its a good thing...the rippers tag should never be more important than the movie info...I dont add my name to my rips..only in the info file...but I dont like it when others add their name to MY rips..its shows lack of character
..and people who have tags like "Dvdripper""rippeddvd" only make things more difficult..

this is often seen on stupid torrent sites...where cam/screening are ment to be misunderstood as a real DVDrip
