years ago, i saw the original version of The Puppet MAsters (the one with Donald Sutherland), its a 50's or 60's b&w movie with a different title, but its all there, the probe/cone/spaceship, & the aliens that nest in peoples neck, controlling em.

in the old movie, the aliens look like black fur balls, the size of a hand & have 2 hooks (that they use to control the hosts with)

As far as i know, The Puppet Masters isn't a remake...it's the only movie based on Robert A. Heinlein's novel.
