If you want splatter effects, this film is great. If you like gross stuff, it is great too. But if you like a minimum density in the story line: Forget it. Even if only medicore dialogs are sufficient for you: Forget it. To compare it in any way with Braindead is a severe insult to the latter. Braindead had many gore and nauseating scenes (remember the ear?), but it also had an interesting story line.

i think the basic plot/story-line in this was ok but the poor acting and seriously annoying background/foreground music was just too much and thus it falls flat on it's ass....had the actors (can we call them that?) had any remote training it could have been a far better movie as it was it was just one gore effect onto another which as you say where pretty well done but it still wasn't enough to make it a decent flick, but hey i've seen worse and not bothered to complain

Agreed. However, isn't part of this forum about complaining about bad movies, too?

Unearthed Films have asked Brian Paulin to write & direct the sequel to Bone Sickness, which will take place directly after the events at the end of the film.

Looking forward to the sequel, didn't think the film was that bad.

Now for the Unearthed Films dvd we have gone back and filmed more GORE! We figured Unearthed has a reputation for distributing some of the goriest films in the United States so we should make sure Bone Sickness delivered. Now the last thing I wanted to do was be someone that puts out more than one version of a movie. But this is a great opportunity to go back and film some scenes that were meant to be in the movie, but we let pass by due to the movie taking so long to finish. Plus it's a chance to go back and fix a few things that took some screenings to see they needed touching up.

The Unearthed Films dvd may be available by October of 2005. We've been told Best Buy is a possibility and Blockbuster / Hollywood Video are interested. Along with distributors in Japan and Germany!
