Another great Bava gothic ghost story about the accidental death of Melissa Graps at age 7 and how her mother, Baroness
Graps talks to her daughter from beyond the grave and has her come back to kill off the villagers who refused to save
Melissa when she was trampled and killed by a horse as people looked on but refused to help the dying child.
From her base of operations, Villa Graps, the black Baroness uses her supernatural abilities to communicate with Melissa.
At the center of this story of sorrow and bitter revenge is a doctor who has been sent to the village to do an autopsy on
the body of a young girl who has recently died a violent and mysterious death. The villagers are all in opposition to the
autopsy as it appears they are trying to cover up something seemingly important. After meeting with resistance, the doctor
succeeds in performing the procedure at which time he discovers a silver coin embedded in the heart of the young girl who
died. Eventually more bodies start turning up, each one of them also strangely carrying silver coins in their hearts as
well.
Dr. Eswai begins to put the pieces of the puzzle together eventually learning the of the curse of the family Graps, as it
becomes his fate to risk his life to rid the village from the dark cloud of murder which hangs over it.
