Amazing collections!

One question I have: do you use any cataloging software to manage all that, or do you just rely on your own memory?

Serious question:

How much of all that are you guys gonna buy AGAIN when 1080p material (regardless format) becomes more affordable ?

For example, I'm not buying too much DVD gear anymore, unless it's dirt cheap. Actually holding out buying some big name trilogies .

Almost every DVD in my collection cost me 5 Euros or less. I'm not the type of guys waiting for new releases on DVD, I'm the type that scavenges videostores when they have sales and check out shops which have cheap DVDs for sale.

My guess is that I will not rebuy anything in my collection except for maybe a few titles.

I just use Excel to catalog my collection. According to that document I have 739 movies (on VHS, DVD or on my HDD) of which I have seen 402.

The wall is the same as before and indeed one in my new house, Truba. The DVDs are also the same, but they have grown in number.

Damn, I could've known that when I'd post these, Truba would get out of his hole in the ground again

Here is a photo of my small but adequate Argento/Fulci inspired dvd collection.
