hmm, THHE2 (80s) and this one have pretty much nothing in common.
okay, they got lots in common- desert, mutants, killings.
the old group were some dirt bike racers, here its soldiers (although their attempts in military mannerisms were quite pathetic).
old one`s a real stinker and half of the movie consisted of sequences from the original.
this one`s borderline wack and full of flaws [ie exceptionally lackluster writing] but maintains a considerable structure and pacing that makes it bearable to sit through (still it was too long at 86 mins already; had 1 or 2 seriously dull segments; not that the rest was much brighter, but... it does move along, although its as original as bacon and eggs for breakfast).
my recommendation: watch and delete. if u dont watch, u wont miss anything. absolutely nothing!

I'm not gonna dl this one, I think. Although I'm into bad movies, I think I'll leave it at watching only one of the two sequels, and since I already got the other one I'm gonna watch that and skip this one.
