Has anyone here worked their way through the series?
Waddaja think?
I'm in the middle of book 6 now, and must say the whole series is very hit&miss.
Book 1 was kinda interesting, atleast the scene with the village shoutout was awesome.
Book 2 was rather forgettable, except the mafioso ganstas. They were cool.
Book 3 was definatly the best! Really enjoyed that one all the way through.
Book 4 was utterly horrible! Couldn't wait to finish it! Just horrible!
Book 5 was just as bad!!! The audio book is like 25 hours long or something, and nothing happens untill the very last 15 minutes! Just heaps of really boring and missplaced backstory. If there was a way to skip it, along with book 4, I would recomend it to anyone starting on the series. Just read a short synopsis somewhere.. saves you alot of hairpulling.
Book 6 is looking good till now. King is starting to tie up loose threads, and things looks to be speeding up..
It seems King has lost his touch in his latter years worth of writing, but just how low will he fall?
I'd post the link to an archive with the complete audio books, but don't have emule here now...

hmm, wont have access for a long while, but if you do a search, sort by size and the biggest file, at about 2.1gb is what you want.

I've got the book of Wolves of the Calla, but have not read it yet.
I'm terrible at getting through books, even the most interesting ones.

that's book nr. 5, and one of the worst in the series. It's a real tripe drag and difficult to sit through, even in audio book format.

Umn, cant really say any of those books were that bad.
Liked most of the story, only a couple of places that were a bit boring. But not much.
