Oh.. well.. guess I'll DL the NZB.... it makes life easier

I got the screener or telesync of grindhouse (of course it was recorded off the theatre) and it has the shole trailer pack and everything... lovely... only for the quality, which is a shame.... anyhow, awaiting for the other movie as well

thanks , been waiting to see the extra scenes and a better quality file, but I'm still incredibly pissed off at the lack of faux trailers , that's really fucked up, not only they change the whole concept of the grindhouse double featur but they put the trailers in the bin... hopefully a super special edition will have both movies together again with the trailes in between (cheap trick)

That shit about the trailers and the double feature was a fucking moronic decision (of one of the execs of course), so it's sad that those bastards (at WB?) just to get another pretty penny came out with that kind of crap

I hope that as well. If the only purpose is making money (which is probably it), they can make an extra special edition and release it in 2008, they may even charge me more for it.

The fact that it wasn't released in the theaters in Europe as a double feature, was because the grindhouses never existed here (there), at least that's what Tarantino said in an interview. Of course he doesn't mind either that he is making more money this way (his movies are cool, but he WILL want to get extra money wherever he can).

...or anyone know where they can be found on the net, there are some on youtube but "Machete" is missing and the quality of the ones that are there is terrible.

"Machete" is shown in European theaters before Planet Terror. The other three are not shown in Europe, maybe that's why YouTube has some links where you can watch the trailers of "Thanksgiving", etc. and some other links where you can watch "Machete".

You're right, this can't really be considered horror, exception made maybe for a couple of gory scenes. Should be moved in the Non-Horror Movies section if you ask me.

I went to the US especifically to watch the double feature and lemme tell you that Death Proof is (for me) waaaay more intense than Planet Terror, however I cannot understand why the're releasing this one first, this movie is the 2nd movie in the back to back feature (and has many bullshit around the movie about the first one and even the trailers before the movie)

Right now I cannot recall any example, but my bet is in cigars, etc. they used fake ads and then put them inside both movies, etc.
