at first there r 2 cases IMO

say, i think people in the usa can get arrested for getting porn from britain. i think the legal age of consent in britain is like 16? that would be considered child pornography in america.

ive seen a few articles where the copyright police have been going after porn downloads in usa, specifically in regards to p2p programs. technically if you are downloading porn, even the legal kind/non-copyright stuff, you can be arrested if someone who is underage is downloading it from your shared files while you are downloading it too. it's just another attack on p2p usage, as you could be downloading a 5mb clip of boobies and 200 people are also downloading it, you would be help responsible if anyone underage was getting it from you.
it seems a bit far fetched, but as far as i know(or at least read) it has happend.

i always say, use common sense, caution, ip block lists, etc when using p2p programs, the laws are so fucked up depending on what month or time of day and whatever state your in that everything is illegal AND perfectly legal at the same time, at least depending on who is accusing who of doing something illegal, how good your lawyer is or how much money you have.

yes there is a law and it is called common sense.... it says u can download copyright material for only own usage and there is the normal copyrigth law blah blah etc... and p2p is not illegal in my country either u can use it as u want and no one gives a fuck... i guess the ppl that run my country and makes laws have other things to do than run around and chase 12 yrs old girls that use kazaa... the stranges things of all is that my country have nice laws but still is one of the countries that buys most dvd and music in the world....
