that looks great MS! I'd say it's your best yet. Especially like the facial expression, and all the use of shadows.

hehe
clicked 'view properties' on my extremme movie manager, and it was over 2 gigabytes. no movie files, just covers, photos, info, and trailors. i guess i should delete some stuff and sort all the crap in there.

doing a bunch of stuff with that program, http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewtopic. ... highlight=

comming along good, now does most of the stuff i want it to at the moment.it still needs some fine tuneing, but its decent now.

anybody think of a feature they would want in a catalogue program?

i will put some screencaps of it in action and a exported html page up on my dumbass site in a couple hours after i organize the sorting of subgenres better, i have it going 5 levels now, but deciding what aspect of a movie's plot is a higher level than another is kind of a bitch to do, or at least assigning it automatic from imdb is hard to do.

its a vampire. a straight one. seemed to dark on a computer monitor.i use a widescreen tv, set 800x600 as my workin monitor, so it looks nothing like the result i see here. guess it's 'john doe, hetero vampire' though its not the original one i had intended. looks more like jack the ripper.
yeah,
warning! there be nipples. hmmm, i could easily replace the word 'warning' with the word 'bonus'.

i dont think that counter on my page is correct.70,000+ visitors? no way. ididnt mess with it, so i dont know why it has so many.
got quite a few more pictures, a bsplayer skin, extrememovie manager mod pictures, hometheatre skin, buncha crap i'll put in there.

had just started messing with flash, was trying to make my hometheatre mod's face have selectable parts that go in and out like Scorpius(from Farscape) headcooler thing. its not scorpius's head, but some poor fucked up fella i drew. his eyes open and close when you select the feature connected thru each eye looks neat enough so far, but animating the fluid going thru his various tubes is being troublesome.

i'll put up some cartoons i did(not the animated kind, but the crappy single frame) like that are on those RPG pages. they are all about harpies. if you can guess what i thought was funny without seeing the cartoons, it wouldnt be hard to guess with a name like 'harpies'. i was going to send them in to that 'critical miss' online magazine, but i think they are ignoring me after all the letters to the editor i wrote.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh,

http://www.geocities.com/monkeysmasher2000//index.htm
put up 2 pictures. it;s supposed to be PrayeR. its the last frame from an animation i did.

and put up 3 interfaces pictures i made for my horrormod/videoplayer/etc. the actual one i have has the eyeball animated, it looks around and is more realistic looking. when the program is opened the eye is closed, clicking the eyelid opens it/acts as a play/pause button. i;m trying to make the eyeball look from right to left as the videofile progresses, like the little progress bar on most mediaplayer, but it doesnt look very good. hehe, every picture i make doesnt look good, only good to me on my other computer.

errr, ehm, ah,
ahem.
the eyeballs are representive of the latest trends in online media, when your watching them, there is a good chance they are watching you as well, collecting your online habits, what movies you watch, when you watch them, etc etc, sending that info back to whomever your media player wants to send packets to. eventually the media providers will know what you want and be able to give it to you, until after a while you will only know what they want to give to you, eventually you wanting only what they want you to want.It all basically boils down to that there is one david hasselhoff to many.

hehe, i made that up. eyeballs are just really creepy.

argh, but enough about that, on a very serious matter, today i'm here to warn you about.......

Captain Kronos:vampire hunter
(echo echo echo echo echo)

i know i say this a lot, but this movie gave me a brain tumor. Sure, there may be fans of it-(the movie, i dont think there are fans of brain tumors......yet)- the synopsis makes it sound a lot better than the end product. i know it doesnt matter what i say, nobody reads this post if there arent boobs in it, some of you will want to see captain kronos because it's premise sounds so good, but it isnt. i wont go into any plot details(because i dont want to spoil anything in case your going to see it) but maria was the vampire.
just kidding. this movie feels like it has pre-made commercial breaks(advertisments) every minute or so. all the music changes, the camera zoom in/outs make it seem like they had purposely made every other minute the semi cliffhanger before a commercial. i can only assume they did it to irritate me. it tries so hard to be a tv movie that it is actually painful to watch, it really wants to be a pilot for a Captain Kronos Action Hour, but failed as far as i know and i pray never was or will be .
man, i hate this movie more then herpes.

on the other hand, a few surprisingly good films i had recently watched...

'dr. terror's house of horrors' from Amicus studios.
one of the best anothologies i have ever seen, better then 'from beyond the grave' and vastly better then 'the uncanny','the offspring', and at least as good(i thought it was better) as the 'tales from the crypt' movie by amicus. not particularily scary by any means, but each story was worth watching in its own. i only knew 3 of the main actors(cushing, lee, and d.sutherland) but the other characters all looked very familiar.

Boris Karloff in 'the Ghoul' was decent too. If you like him in The Mummy, this goes with it.

but most importantly-
http://thehouseofdarkness.tripod.com/id21.htm

i hate learning new things.
such as the time i learned how to make vodka at home, i forgot how to drive. sure the police said i was drunk, but it held up in court and im a free man today.

i hadnt ditched the stupid webtemplates that lycos has default, i just put some pictures of my bsplayer skin and the output from my extreme movie mod.

wondering if remote linking works, if it doesnt show up, somebody tell me....
