OK,OK,OK....heads up first.....
You're either gonna love it or hate it......NO MIDDLE WAY
It's stupid no brain popcorn cheesecake; one intended to have a good sarcastic laugh...

Plot: Stupid people going to wrong place , wrong time.....and all hell breaks loose...

It's unintended somewhat of a comedy - Like the scene where one MAKES an emergency escape exit by just DIVING thru a oak door...
Or was it a sublte hint towards the director, that he , for the sake of his future career, wants out of this movie !

Even haters will have to admit it IS a make-up effects carnival...

Ahh, to hell with imdb, these sites are way more informative, INDEED EVEN TOO INFORMATIVE ; It will ruin all the fun surprises

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/click/mov ... rid=807492

Here's more ; Warning ! it does contain spoilers...

http://www.pulsingcinema.com/reviews/spookies.html

"The People of" Imdb rate it a 2.3 out of 10 ! What higher recommendation can you get  ?

@ prayer - NO TITS , DICKS

** temporary note : I'll powershare this today and will continue to do so from monday on ; you might get a chunk from me this weekend but don't expect to much - 'My nephew will have downloading a lot of Rap crap this weekend......If you really want it badly and fast , i guess you'll just have to kiss wargand's and buckethead's ass ( i.e give them friend slots  ) **

More gore in the uncut version as I remember, kind of reminds me of evil clutch in some ways, not sure why.As he said though there isn't a middle road on this movie..it really is love it or hate it from everyone I know that has seen it too

I'm a little puzzled about this cut version you guys mention....

I mean , to the best of my knowledge , there never was a cut version......ntsc lasts 85 min , pal 82....altough stupid retail chains ( READ: BLACKSTAR and like) just note the ntsc run time....
Could check with the guarteed UNCUT OLD vhs down the local rental store...

How long does that VHS of yours run of yours paul ?

if it says , for example, only 75 mins, then you damn right it's cut.....

Though what would be cut ? there isn't much gore in it IF you ignore some quite good and ugly make up effects.....
Not many gallons of blood , I mean.....

EDIT: OOPS! forgot some basic specs:

divx 5.05 ( Sorry for that , but the damn thing was interlaced and 4:3 - therefor I had to stick with a tool that maybe a bit inferior, but at least know how to handle)
bitrate > 1000 kb/s ( had to : Yet again the dvd wasn't top quality)
mp3 128vbr

Run of the mill quality it is then.....

But I remember the film being about as eventfull as a wake

So it must a been cut :?

Just came home, and what do I see? Download is finished. Now let me burn it quickly on DVD that I can delete it from my HD

Ok, ok, would not do this to ohgod after he gave me such a nice head start. But a few minutes you'll have to wait. Have to move it from my temp to my prio dir.

:D

 DAMN
Then Buckethead really pulled you thru big way ! :D

but anyway  *sniff* , demand for this is apparently poor

Don't know what the hell paul is doing :? , but merely 3 people are downing this right now...and he ain't one of them....( though me being of SciFi network server might have something to do with that ; it won't let you on if you have client older than .30)
Dxa , r3ton , and that sneaky Polityk are all I have had....been so for hours... :(

I knew this woudn't attract half as much as a Beyond Reanimator or even Q, but can't deny being a bit shocked about this amount ...

Maybe I should rename this Hemoglobin 2.....and state it's brand new.....(2003).....hell, they'd all jump on it like slugs on cattle shit..... :x

This is not too bad for me. I like to have more rare files in my share, which have a low but constant upload, but one or two popular ones, which will block all my upload making all the other files in share useless ballast.

OK. Just checked my Virgin Video of this and the run time is stated as .....................................

82 Minutes

So, I take it that I'm gonna think this is crap, becuase I've seen the uncut version?

Still clicking it oh and have moved it to my powershare client so you guys can stop bitching about me not getting any chucnks!

Man this board rules. People actually get mad if there not sending stuff out to people.

Thats the spirit of sharing fellas

At 40% and I just clicked on it last night  Gotta love that.Got polityk,Paul and Takyon grabbing it from me at the moment..I would say this is done by tommorow if not later tonight.
As far as the uncut version goes..I have the cut version but my buddy has the uncut on vhs..very slight differences but a few seconds more gore is always important to me in any movie.
