I watched the 30 days of night TC. it was quite good, there were some excellent shots in it, like the crane cam shots of the early days when the vampires are massacring people.

Nice and gorey too :)

Didn't like the end one bit though.

Premonition (2007) ... I though it would be a bit scary. :( It wasn't at all... Pretty pointless and major goofs in it. I didn't like it.

Yesterday I watched:

The Hitcher - this is a thriller people, not horror :P but WOW! what a movie! I felt the tension all the way through. Rutger Hauer is so good at acting, he just looks at another actor and you feel suspense. I figured out the story pretty quickly, but that didn;t matter for the enjoyment.

Phantasm - a few corny effects, a weird story and there it is: your own classic. It certainly had that classic feeling all over it. I didn't like the endig so much, although I think other people will think it is brilliant.

The Mummy Theme Park - hilariously bad movie. I just can't tell what is bad about it, because EVERYTHING is bad in this movie. Unbelievable how people can make this and think it's OK. I laughed my ass off during almost the entire movie. Recommended to anyone who loves bad movies.

Buried Alive - a disappointment. Gory stuff is nice, but not anything special and there isn't enough of it. The rest of the movie is kind of tedious, although the girls in it look nice. I think I'm gonna delete this one.

A Lizard In A Woman's Skin - giallo by Fulci. Nice movie, good story, but not really my taste.

Fear - Much gore, good fun. It faintly reminded me of Planet Terror in the way it was comical. The story in PT is much better, but this was also a 90 minutes well enjoyed. Recommended.

They Crawl - a totally pointless piece of crap, with Micky Rourke on the cover of the DVD: actually he's in the movie for only three minutes. The female detective looked good, but the cockroaches are superbad CGI. Avoid.

After that, I had a video nasties night, with:

I Miss You Hugs And Kisses - surprisingly nice story, I couldn't find a good reason to ban this film, except maybe for the head bashing scene. But then again, we have seen worse of that.

Delirium - slow and mostly boring. Some murders are cool, but when the killer dies like halfway into the movie, all tension (which was already very little) is gone.

Don't Go In The House - luckily I watched this as the final movie of the night, so I went to sleep with satisfaction. I really liked this one, the killer is a real wacko and after a few victims, you can recitate with him throughout the movie: "I can give you a lift. You don't mind if I drop these things off at home first? It's right on the way." Recommended.

The Da Vinci Code (2006) - Interesting theory (?) about the Christian religion. I enjoyed it, however the English dialog was very hard to understand without subtitles.

Without Warning (1979) - A.k.a. (inconsistency?) The Warning. Nice horror classic about an alien on earth killing people. It features young David Caruso, Martin Landau and Jack Palance.

Last Night: 30 Days of Night - really liked this one, the way it was done was great and loved the vampires. Didn't give the impression of actually feeling like they suffered for 30 days, flat ending too, but good nonetheless - 7/10

Tonight: The Deaths of Ian Stone - good little movie too, well made considering the low budget it must have had and a few good jumpy parts - 7/10
