The Screaming Skull - first half is boring, second half quite amusing. Surprising, especially for a 50s movie.

Savage Harvest - cover promised more than the film gave me. Near the end the amount of gore increases dramatically, which is good. I don't remember a lot of the rest of the movie, which says enough.

Friday the 13th (Part V) A New Beginning: I've seen part 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 so far. Behind part 10 (which is utter shit) this has been the worst so far. There were some tits, but only unoriginal killing and no Jason <- SPOILER.

Beowulf:
why oh why did that dumbass director decide to use techno music in this film? That spoiled what could have been a decent film if hed also dropped Lambert who cant act.

Breeders:
Hmmm, Samantha Janus was the best thing about this & she has a nice arse :googley: This was mildly entertaining but only something to watch if you have nothing else to.

Evil Aliens:
Fantastic!! Best film I've seen all year. Like Feast it has exactly the right amount of comedy, horror & splatter. If you havent seen this yet grab it & watch it soon
This ones English.

Fantastic Planet:
Bizarre! If you like scifi cartoons then have a look at this one. The humans are like ants in a world run by giants who have them as pets & go hell bent on exterminating the wild ones. Twisted entertaing film.

Metamorphosis:
Some guy gets bitten by an alien & mutates. Not that good unless you like this kinda scifi mutant thing as the guy turns into a giant cock with legs albeit where his bellend turns into like a crocodile head lol

Evil Aliens is indeed a very good film. Really enjoyed that one. It's one of those movies you can watch over and over again and not get bored.

About Metamorphosis: did you watch the 1990 or the 1993 movie?

I watched:

ReVamped - pretty OK and sometimes even funny vampire movie, The storyline sucks (pun intended), but there are some nice looking gals in this one.

The 1990 version: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107561/

Just watched Screamers (1995) which was an entertaining scifi action film about 2 warring factions on a distant planet who both have the same problem... robotic creatures that chop them up. Nice twist at the end.

Hmmm... Im going to cheat and post about the movies ive been watching over the last week so I can get caught up

Vamp (1986)- I thought this one was kick ass when I saw it back in the day, but I must have been thinking of a different movie. This one is so quirky, it mostly takes place in a creepy strip club, and there is purple & green lighting everywhere for some reason. Even in the sewer. lol.

Visiting Hours - I mostly wanted to see this cause I love hospital horror movies and I thought I saw someones animated avatar of a security guard getting a drill in the back of the head (?) and was told it was from this movie. But I never saw anything close to being that cool.

Hell Night (1981)- This was surprisingly alot better than I thought it was going to be. The filming location was fantastic! Im surprised this isnt getting the remake treatment yet.

Psycho Cop 2 (1993)- Wow, I remembered this being WAY better. Oh well. It was amazing how many cop/serial killer jokes they came up with.

Lifeforce (1985)- How have I never seen this before? This was a sweet epic survival-ish horror flick! (But, I also agree with Spud on this one.)

REC (2007)- Holy crap this movie was awesome. Apparently its already being remade though as "Quarantine" (Starring Jennifer Carpenter [Exorcism of Emily Rose/Dexter]) and it hasnt even hit the states yet.

Deadly Friend (1986)- Kristy Swanson! Other than that, this was kind of a macabre take on suburban childhood, but SO cheesy. I can definitely see the residual visuals placed here and there from NOES.

Dr Giggles (1992)- I forgot how really well made this was! :o Aside from the super cheesy tongue in cheek dialog, that is. Its disappointing that for being as elaborate as the death scenes were, they cut away from the actual gore / violence. Except for the "rebirth" lol.

Night of the Comet (1984)- I also remember this being alot better, but it still wasnt that bad. One of the few zombie-esque survival horror movies to use a more original take on the crisis aspect. It felt WAY too rushed though.

And, tonight im watching Pulse from 1988, starring Joey Lawrence, back when he could actually act. lol.

Gothic Vampires From Hell - a shameless advertisement for gothic bands (at least, what they think in the US is a Gothic band - I'm always surprised to see what other stuff is brought into the Goth scene in America), of which not even one is very good. The story is bad, the killings have loads of blood, but some of it is CGI (blegh) and the rest of it looks extremely fake. On the plus sie: some chicks look great in their outfits (check out this one). Avoid the film if possible.

Looks a lot like the hottie in Aeon Flux that I watched last night. Very entertaining scifi action with some great ideas & special effects.

Watched a lot lately, but the Rambo Quadrilogy has been the highlight. I'd only seen part 3 before and I loved watching Rambo train the Taliban. I like the fact that there's a hollywood document out there of US duplicity.

Part 1's the best, obviously, but the new one isn't bad at all… Nice and violent.

Kiss Meets the Phantom in the Park — I had to stop halfway thru, it was hurting me. Perhaps I'll go back to it, but only out of some sort of masoKISSm.

The recent Resident Evil & AVP were passable, I thought. Nice brain-numbing nonsense, and I thought AVP2 was better than the first. Not hard, I know.

Paul W.S. Anderson… :voodoo:

I only heard bad stuff about Aeon Flux. By the hottie you mean Charlize Theron?

Charlize Theron yeah, in a black lycra bodysuit with a posh spice haircut & as supple as a gymnast, mmmhmmmm :googley:

I heard it was meant to be crap too but having watched it I have to disagree. Its very imaginative & keeps up a reasonably fast pace.

Hhhhm, I watched Zombie Creeping Flesh again. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082559/

I have no idea why I watched it, just saw it was on TV and that was that. That film is fucking smeg.

Nice soundtrack, it is kind of familiar

30 Days of Night (2007): Eh, kinda mediocre. If you've read the
comic, you can see where they took the core idea of the plot and
not much of anything else. Which is kinda weird because the comic
reads like story board. If you love all things vampiric then give it
a go.

Kind of in a mood where films bore me, but watched a classic WW2 drama 5 Fingers with James Mason, and it was a good movie.

Tried to start with Amuck! starring Barbara Bouchet, but got bored.

La Noche de las Gaviotas - after having watched the other three Blind Dead movies, albeit a while ago, this one was just too much. I had already seen it all, and it was more of the same. Actually I only liked part one and part three. The other movies are superfluous in my opinion.

I watched Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. Great movie? Or greatest movie?

Also saw Rabid grannies. Like evil dead with old people. Loved it.

Saw Jumper in theatres today. Absolute shit.

And as I type this, I'm watching Friday the 13th #4, from my newly downloaded complete box set of Friday the 13th. Unfortunately it includes Freddy vs. Jason. Worst movie ever. If only they gave Sam Raimi creative control so that it could be Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash.
