I have the crapxbox 360 and i cannot make it to display any subtitle, be it SRT or vobsubs, however in my dvd player, i can get vobsubs working, but, it wont connect on to my server

I mean the xbox, the big black box... It's my official dvd/xvid player and though I'm incredibly satisfied with it as a player, it can't really deal with a large .sub file, takes a lot of effort to load... sometimes to the point of frustration, so I try to avoid .sub files larger than 3mb +/- at all costs.

hmm... then i guess i'll buy one of those black boxes.. I used to have ps2 and i was very unsatisfied because i couldnt make it to work with networked xvids, etc

Anyhow, xbox 360 is great for mp4 (high def) streaming (and it looks GREAT) it now only needs better audio support, subtitle support and MKV support.

Xbox on the other hand, i will consider to make it work with emulized games and divx with srt (if and only IF I could change those pesky subtitle colours)
