I got the exact same, I don't see DJ for this either - it's all red except for two lone blue chunks :(

Just seen the first 10 minutes. Then my gf asked me to show her another one. If you ask me, this one might be hard, but I found the part I saw quite boring. But I liked this type of possible horror always boring.

Can you really watch a film like this with your girlfriends where a girl gets raped with a bottle and other things like that.

Sure, no problem. It wasn't the violence which disgusted her, but the story was lame. By far to centered on the violence and much too less psychologial. Ok, I said I saw at best 10 minutes of it, so the better part might have come later, but from your bottle example, I doubt it. From the small part I saw I'd say it differs not much from Guinea Pig Devils Experiment. I found this one boring to. Suppose without fast forward key I would not have seen it.

Yeah, we watched it and we both though guinea pig was miles better :)
The story was sloooooow in scrapbook. I quite liked the end though, although we both wondered why in god's name the girl in this film didn't fight back more.
Eric Stanze seems to have serious problems pacing his films, both Scrapbook and Ice from the Sun have too little plot and ideas to fill their runtime. I quite enjoyed (mmm maybe not the right word) them both, but they REALLY drag in places.
Overall though we both thought it was OK, could have done with more plot, and it's a pretty nasty (in tone) film, but not as shocking or brutal as guinea pig.

Nice to see it's provoking so much discussion. :D

How was the Rip? Reason I ask is that I had to lower the bitrate quite a bit to get the screen size up as it was interlaced NTSC. I thought with it being a low budget affair, the picture quality wouldn't suffer too much from being lower than normal in bitrate.
