Quote:
From the rotting depths of unimaginable terror come three grisly, gore-soaked short stories of cannibal lust and extreme sexual desires! Be prepared for the most gruesome and shocking confrontation with psychopathic madness, perversity... and appetites!

Weekend in the City: Karen has always had horrifying, yet erotic fantasies of being eaten alive. When she answers a disturbing classified ad, her fantasies may just come true!

Trick or Treat: Halloween will never be the same for Stacy, because on this bloody night of horror, she will become the "Trick"... and a tasty "Treat"!

Meat’s Meat: (and Man’s Gotta Eat): Join Pa, Ma, May and Adley as they try to buy out the local meat market... then butcher and serve their own delicious brand of meats.

no, its exactly the same process... you should always deinterlace vhsrips. You can also IVTC tv/vhs.

Some advice for vhsrips:

I was just asking because this one and the other one posted as verified for the UEC are both not deinterlaced.

I get what I can....can't do anything about improperly encoded rips though....I am just thankful (As I am with this release) to find them in the first place.

This isn't (I don't think it is anyway) from the ripper of the above movie, but here's the reasoning behind one rippers decision not to de-interlace or crop...

Quote:
I encode my AVIs for big screen watching on DivX
equipped standalone DVD players, as that's how I watch them. It
means I preserve the interlacing of the source where
ever possible to preserve the highest possible video
detail.

Since late August 2004 I have also begun to record the
entire video frame uncropped. This means if you watch
it on the TV, the noise you see on a PC media player,
on the bottom of frame and any extra bars on the side
disappear into the overscan area of the TV screen.

Ah, this whether a

1) very well thought out policy, or
2) the best excuse I've ever read!

Oh well, its very hard to convince many people when they are in their ways. Wouldn't like to be around when he upgrades that old 'setup' to something a bit more modern and see what those rips look like with the encoding issues :wacky:
