Many thanks! I noticed that cover picture is from ozenfilm, do you have any relation with Turkey or is it just a coincidence?

I'd prefer the third installement of The Three Mothers trilogy but I'll give this a chance too.

Call me undemanding, but I really enjoyed Card Player. Not Dario on top form, but its a solid enough thriller (not a horror movie) in my opinion.

Brisk pace, some vinatge Argento moments of suspense, a pretty cool "gimmick" for the killer's MO. The dubbing isn't too terrible either, although (as usual) beyond the lead -english-speaking- cast member its the weakest aspect of the movie.

On that subject, it still bugs me that Argento has such a bad rep for the standard of acting in his movies. With good actors (Von Sydow, Hemmings, Keitel, Liam Cunningham in this movie) he does get good performances. It's seems a shame that his budgets never seem to stretch to having the quality in depth.
