Quote:
Director Joseph Kuo follows up on Jackie Chan's Drunken Master success with the entertaining action-comedy The World of Drunken Master. Jack Lung stars as a friend of Beggar Su (Yuan Siu Tin of Drunken Master), Fan Ta Pei, who joins his old friend to reminisce about the old days when they were mischievous pranksters. Back then, the two had to contend with the evil Tiger Yeh (Lung Fei), who was more powerful than the terrible twosome. But thankfully, Beggar Su and Fan Ta Pei have Chang Chi (Chan Wai Lau), who's able to teach them the entertaining and utterly destructive powers of drunken boxing! With some training, the two are now able to take on Tiger Yeh, but the bad guy has his own score to settle with their master Chang Chi! It all comes down to knock down fight sequences featuring the classic and wildly entertaining drunken boxing style! The World of Drunken Master may not have Jackie Chan, but it has enough more than enough to make it an enjoyable old-school kung-fu flick!
