Deadly Friend (1986): Entertaining and sometimes also funny movie. It has a typical 80s feeling with a simple and well told story. BB!

One Missed Call (2004): Nice asian horror/thriller with some spooky ghosts and twisted turns in the plot. Unexpected ending. Recommended!

The Boogens (1982): Looked like a low budget horror flick. Only a few scenes where the monsters can be seen and thus it is not really scary. Actors and atmosphere is ok though.

House IV (1992): It was ok. Nowhere near as good as the first two though. It's not that funny and there aren't any real ghosts here. It's a sad ending for a great series. :(

Bikini Bandits Experience - I thought this was a fulllength feature film. The DVD case stated its duration was 105 mins and it featured Jello Biafra, Maynard James Keenan and Deedee Ramone. None of this all. The DVD contained 7 short (3m 30s each) episodes of the stupidest, dumbest TV series that ever hurt my eyes badly. I didn't see nyone I knew, let alone the names I mentioned above. I'm lucky the DVD only cost me 2 Euros, what a hoax.

Trick or Treat - nice rock-horror with a nostalgic 80s feeling. It was not treally good, but Ozzies appearance is hilarious, you sghould watch this movie for his role alone.

Teenage Hooker Became Killing Machine in Daehakroh - weird Asian stuff. The title explains all, the film is only 60 mins and it is what the title promises. The ending contains a scene with a terrifying weapon from the crotch.

Werewolves on Wheels - not much werewolf action in this one, only in the last 15 mins some hairy men come across the screen. Thjis is kore of a motorbike gang movie. Nice, but not surprisng or original in any way. Maybe in the way that it was advertised as a horrormovie and it actually turns out to be a roadmovie. Some nice killings, btw.

Flavia the Heretic - long, maybe evn too long. Two shocking scenes, the rest is mediocre, with some mild torturing and sex.

They Saved Hitlers Brain - pretty incoherent story, I didn't quite follow it all the time, but maybe that was due to the time of night. The idea was hilarious (and thus is the title), but it could have been much more fun.

Cannibal Holocaust 2 aka Schiave Bianca: terrore en amazonia - the softest, dullest "cannibal" movie ever. Some animal action, weird rituals, but the only cannibals we see are two guys getting beaten in a fight. Hence, no cannibalism at all.

From Beyond - I finally enjoyed thos wonderful piece of horror mastery. I just loved this film. It is one of those that you can watch over and over again without boredom. Highly recommended.

Desecration (1999): Bah this is one bad movie more. There were gory and suspense scenes, but there has to be more to make a good movie. The acting was bad and the plot was total bullshit full with unlogical actions. Like: 1. Woman looks for her grandson in his room. She can't find him and knows he is missing. Instead of looking all over the place for him, she drives home? 2. Son is hunted by the evil nun in the woods. He manages to get away. Then he sees another praying nun in the woods and goes there to help her (maybe he wanted to help her pray?). Of course that nun is the evil nun. Duh! This movie had really potential but it was all ruined by the stupid plot and acting. In the end the movie didn't make sense at all, because you find out nothing about anything by the end. All of a sudden the movie is over... :suicide:

Zombie Rampage - bad zombie flick. Typical 80s "gangs" keep fighting each other all the time, almost like there weren't any zombies. Some zombiegore is nice, the eating of the baby is quite original, but overall this is a very forgettable movie. Especially the constant fistfights were annoying.

Killer Klown from Kansa on Krack - terrible torture to watch. I knew I could expect something like this, but you never know. The sfx look like they are made up by a 4 year old kid and the story is incomprehensible. Unless you like to see so much celluloid getting wasted, steer clear of this one.

The Burning Moon - worst Ittenbach I have seen so far. The only good gore is in the endscene, but it doesn't save this flick from being below average at best. Two stories (convenienty linked by an overall story about a guy who has to babysit his cousin and reads her "bedtime stories" - cliche) with a very sup[erficial storyline and some killings. It is a few days ago when I saw it and I have almost forgotten what this movie was about, I think that says it all.

Trog - a bad movie fans cheesefest, recommended highly if you are into crap films to laugh at. A man with not even a gorilla suit (it is only the head) is the "missing link" science has been looking for for years. When it escapes its cave after having killed 1 man, it get filmed by cardboard boxes (oh, I mean: cameras). The female scientist experiments with it, but the townspeople are afraid this Trog might kill others too. Conflict is inevitable... (You can almost hear the brass instruments playing in the background now)

Ravenous (1999): Good movie. It was totally awesome until the part at which there was more than one cannibal. From that moment on the suspense was somehow gone for me. I don't like how the story developed from that point on and how it ended. :?

Planet Terror (2007): Absolutely marvelous. This got to be the best zombie/action movie ever. Great mixture of gore, gore, gore and action and fun and gore.

Galaxy Of Terror (1981): This must be the movie that inspired Sphere.

There were some ridiculous things in this one:
Spoiler:
1. One of the spacecraft soldiers is scared all the time and though left as the only crew member exploring a crashed ship alone. He dies and nobody ever wonders where he might be. I mean, the other soldiers somehow totally forget about him and behave like he never even existed.
2. Robert Englund suddenly stops appearing in the movie at the end - for no particular reason. We never see him again and don't know what actually happened to him.
3. At the end an old guy somehow turns out to be the "master" (and his face becomes ridiculously glowing red). Then again the "hero" of the movie faces all dead crew members and defeats them all and becomes... the new "master". But it's not explained what the "master" so it feels kind of: WTF? :googley:

The movie was not bad, but it has so many holes in it that it unintentionally becomes funny - which is sad IMHO.

Agre 100% with chupas reviews.

@ RV: how can it ever be sad when a movie becomes unintentionally funny? I consider it a great bonus! Actually, I have a large part of my collection taken up by unintenionally funny movies...

Last watched:

Flesh for the Beast (a while ago, but I forgot to post about it) - expected vampires, got semi demons instead. One of the twists was unexpected enough, but also pretty incredible, a little too fabricated. The other twists were very predictable. The killings started pretty soon, but after the first two it became annoying. Forgettable movie.

Green Inferno - another cannibal movie without any cannibals. Some gruesome Amazonian nature scenes, but that's it. I thought there were way too many different people in the rainforest for such a dense forested area, it almost started to look like an adventure movie (think Indiana Jones).

Dracula vs Frankenstein - both these monster had major make up problems in this film. This is one of those that are unintentionally funny, and I greatly enjoyed it! Watch it, RV!

If you don't get what you expect, I guess. I expected a spooky sci-fi horror movie.

Friday The 13th (Part VI): Jason Lives (1986): Great sequel! In fact the best Jason I've seen so far (part 1,2,3,4,5,6 and X). Action, fun and horror/gore mixed greatly. Nice beginning and ending. If you like Friday the 13th movies you need to see this. :)

I keep forgetting to post on the stuff/shit I watch, so here goes another summary of a few days:

Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama - this title promises a lot of cheesy fun and it delivers, but not that much. It has cheesy fun, but it could have been much better. The imp made me laugh all the time, what a funny little bugger. I liked this movie a lot, but maybe it got helped by my team beating the Italians badly on the Euro Championship (3-0) and the adrenaline which came with it.

Motocross Zombies from Hell - also a promising title, but this is a hit and miss. Zombies only appear during the last 10 minutes, all the rest of the movie is about a racing team (which consists of 1 racer, 1 mechanic and 1... girl) and it is really lame. Don't watch it.

Reptilicant - yes, nice, this is how every monster movie should be made! A team of criminals wants to loot Alcatraz, because there are diamonds hidden somewhere (I really liked this cliche premise). An old lover of the female leader wants to help them, but he turns against them (how surprising! how cliche!!). That is not the only problem: someone, something else is loose in Alcatraz... Reptilicant! The story is told by the female leader who gets arrested and she tells the police hat ghappened on the island. If you are very tired, or if you want to have a movie play in the background while chatting with friends, this one is great! It is so predictable that you never miss anything, not even when you're not in the same room with the TV it plays on!

Hallow's End - some sort of a soap mixed with horror. The dialogues are dreadful, except when you are a big fan of "As The World Turns" or "Santa Barbara". The story is quite original (by some curse everyone in a haunted house becomes what they play in the show they give every Halloween), but it plays out very cliche. Mediocre, not very special, but not hurting your eyes either.

The Church (1989): Nice Argento. Spooky and occultish with Demons. People are trapped in a church while demons are awakening. They have to find out the secret of the church to save the outside world from the terror within. I however liked "Demons" a lot better.

The I Inside (2003): Jacob's Ladder rip off. A man awakens in a hospital and can't remeber what happened during the last 2 years. Strange things start to happen. He realizes that he might have committed a murder, but the worst thing he's yet to find out.

Braindead (1992): Woohoo what an awesome movie. The best zombie comedy I have ever seen. If you are a horror fan you have to see this.

The Orphanage (2007): This was definitely worth the download. Great movie. It was creepy and had great shock moments. I thought it would be more like a haunted house movie in which the ghost of children kill people, but I wasn't disappointed at all. Recommended.

Forever Evil (1987): Good B-movie about an ancient god. I liked the beginning a lot. It was sad that it couldn't keep up the suspense until the end. By the end it wasn't at all scary to me any longer. :(

The Happening (2008): I enjoyed it, but the plot was rather spoon-fed throughout the film, and more should have been left to the imagination. Low cheese factor was a plus. Would have been even better with a more stylized look?

Nekromantik 2 - like in part 1, the final scene is by far the best and the nastiest. The only qiestion I have for Buttgereit is: why do we have to wait 95 mins for that scene to happen?

The Warrior and the Sorceress - crappy adventure/fantasy/scifi movie in which two warlords compete for the power over the only well. John Carradine stars as "The Dark One" and is some sort of a superwarrior. The sorceress is an almost naked lady who is captive all the time, so not much room for sorcery. Pretty forgettable.

and some non-horor:

Jetsons the Movie - watched this with the gf, as it had sentimental value for her. I counted one good joke, which is not enough for a comedy.

Idi i Smotri (Come and See) - tragic warmovie, left some impact, but not so much as written on imdb. Maybe I'm too "battle hardened" in watching warmovies. Recommended highly for anyone except the real fainthearted.

Bloodrage - nice movie with a video nasty feel to it. A young man feels attracted to prostitutes and at the same time despises them. This inner struggle makes him love and kill the same women. If you like slashers/serial killers, go for it.

Grave Misdemeanors - I expected something else, so I was kind of surprised. I guess I just read the comments wrongly. Sgt Malarkey stars as a loser/nerd who has to fend off the jock's harassments and keep his job at the morgue at the same time. I laughed out loud a few times, which is a good sign for a movie. Recommended.
