he tried when there was no data in the database, as did a lot of people its there now though so if you can't login you then there's another problem like a) your password is wrong b) you are trying the wrong email c) for whatever reason your username isn't valid (i imagine unicode, etc. could cause this).

Weird though didn't change anything recently. Could the update have converted my user name, given it has an apostrophe ?

for the same reason, I guess, the password recovery doesn't seem to work either... crap.

Try login in with: muadʹdib (copy paste) instead of muad'dib (and I'm not sure it works)
Otherwise you'd need a namechange, and both muaddib and muadib are already taken.

Last night was a planned stop for moving the servers to another server rack.
Everything went right except that the server, hosting Comic-Central and Fileheaven and most importantly the Shitbusters screenshot gallerys!, thought it was a good idea to throw around some errors.

Errors about some sata could not connect, raid deprecated etc.
As you can see (or maybe not) those errors aren't the ones I'm comfortable with, so I decided to remove the server from the rack and take it home with me.
This always happens when you shutdown the server after an uptime of more than a year. Discs don't know how to startup again.

Currently I'm doing an autopsy on the harddiscs and reviving it with new ones. This does mean I have to completely reinstall the server from scratch (software). This takes a couple of hours.
I've all the data still intact (so it seems) from the second harddrive, so there shouldn't be anything missing. Worst case scenario, I've a db dump from the day before. But since I have the db files from the hds, I shouldn't be needing those.

Well there is a worse scenario, involving a spontaneously combustion including me, the server and the backups.
But lets not go down that road. Although it is a bit hot in here.

If I don't step into more problems I think it should be up and running this weekend again. Not sure if it will be later today already.
Doing my best to have this fixed asap.
