Acclaimed actor Hwang Jung Min (You Are My Sunshine) underacts to great effect, creating a remarkably restrained character opposite the chilling performances of Kang Shin Il (Hanbando) and Yu Seon (The Wig).
When insurance investigator Jeon Jun Oh (Hwang Jeong Min) arrives at the scene of his latest case, a run-down house in the middle of nowhere, he is greeted with the sight of a little boy hanging from the ceiling. The child's father, Park Chung Bae (Kang Shin Il), is jumpy, shifty, and eager for insurance compensation, while frail, grieving mother Shin Yi Hwa (Yu Seon) bears signs of physical abuse on her body. The police close the case as suicide, but Jeon suspects Park of foul play and fears that his wife may be the next target. Projecting his own troubled past into the case, Jeon wants to help Shin escape from danger, but soon discovers the shocking repercussions of digging too deep. |

This one I thought was actually pretty fun. The "protagonist" is not only one really dumb motherfucker, but he's also a really big wuss. I really enjoyed watching him squirm in his own blood and crawl on the floor crying for help. Rather disappointing that he didn't ultimately get killed, but was still rather enjoyable. It was kind of a stretch how him (and a couple of others) would get continually 'pwned' and killed by one small, lame bitch (she was literally lame - walking slow with a limp and one of her feet bent in an awkward way), who would do anything but try to hide her intention to kill essentially anybody (by going so far as to say "if you want to help, please help me kill my husband" or ask straightforward "if he dies, will I still get the insurance money?" over her crippled husband's hospital bed), but after tuning out the more serious part of the brain it was ok. Another hilarious scene was a psychologist (I'm assuming, it was never explicitly stated, who he was, except for the fact that he was doing some psychological research for some thesis or whatever) explaining to the leading wuss the difference between psychopats and psychos (and yes, "psychos" was the "scientific" term) - you see, the psychopats "have no heart"! What speaks best about his grasp on that whole psychology thing though, is the fact that he was barking up a completely wrong tree and got killed by the real psychopathic killer instead.
Overall, good for laughs. 4/10. Would give it another point maybe, but it's too hard to take seriously.
