Got a question.

I recently noticed my hard drive getting VERY full, so I went out and purchased some CD-Rs.

The first/only movie that I've burned so far was Beyond Re-Animator, and it was like 700.63 mb. I am using Nero and I didn't get an error that the file was in fact too big.

So, what I'm wondering is... How much more can a regular CD-R hold (without overburning), and do you think that it will corrupt my movie in some kind of way? I tried playing it back from the CD and it works perfectly, which means that the index isn't fucked up.

Just some questions. Hopefully you can help me.

It's near 703 on most high quality cds without overburning. Overburning a little bit nor burning to the rim without overb/ causes corruption unless u screw up somehow ie. pc crashes.

If u use cheapies then there are some discs that are incompatible with certain burners and tend to make coasters, in most cases no it's fine :)

Even if you get an error message at the end of overburning, your files may be ok. You just have to copy them onto your hdd to make sure.
