i was so dissapointed with this one...  I wanted and expected more cruelty from Tarantino... But that Nazi colonel Landa is great! Amazing acting of Christoph Waltz

i like tarantino better this way, with 'less' cruelty. it felt more like the 'real' tarantino I used to love years ago when i first saw RESERVOIR DOGS, PULP FICTION or his FOUR ROOMS episode. there were times when i was starting to have my doubts, but, personally, i think he still got it.  edit: oh and yes, christoph waltz is fucking amazing! hats off to him!

I absolutely agree. Every scene with him in it and I was transfixed - amazing acting, in fact the opening long scene was fascinating to watch as it unfolded. Conversely Brad Pitt really was the pits in this...

I really think he needs a professional script writer though, and now more then ever. I mean there is only so much one person can do before he repeats himself.
